For science fiction I would like to nominate Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card. I looked on the master list and it was used before but back in 2002. I think this would be a good choice because the movie is coming out on November 1.

I plan on reading this. Don't know if I will get to it this month though.

I'm currently reading Rainbows End by Vernor Vinge. It's good so far, not entirely what I expected. Other books I'll be getting to this month:

No Safety In Numbers by Dayna Lorentz
No Easy Way Out by Dayna Lorentz
Insignia by S.J. Kincaid
Vortex by S.J. Kincaid

Probably going to start the Firestar series by Michael Flynn as well.

Reading The Cobra Trilogy by Timothy Zahn. Really good so far; I'm about 3/4 done. Good military science fiction. Zahn's one of my favorite writers.
