I am SO SO GLAD (view spoiler)[that it wasn't Janice! I never suspected her but sometimes I get shocked. One reason (has nothing to do with the storyline) that I didn't want it to be Janice is because that's my sister's name, my BFF, my confidante and the best person I know. LOL I was pissed off to find out how duped and betrayed he was after all and what a horrible woman! (hide spoiler)]

I am going to go watch my grandchildren for a few hours so will comment on the rest of it later this afternoon/evening. I'll be able to finish it when the baby is napping.

From the time his (view spoiler)[violin had been stolen and he got that ransom note, I knew he had it had to be more of sentimental value than anything. Only Ray deserves to get the violin back. I know how much my mother's (deceased now) :( littlest of things mean to me and I would be devastated to have any of them stolen. I have one item that Dad designed for her for their 50th anniversary and it's a gold medallion with 50 diamonds around it. Although it was very costly, it doesn't mean more to me than the other things of hers that I have like a Betty Boop that she loved which might've been a hundred or two. So I totally understand Ray. Add the sentimental value to the cost AND his passion for music, I get it! (hide spoiler)]

I kind of understand his attachment to the violin because (view spoiler)[it is a family heirloom. Value doesn't mean much when it comes to something an heirloom, but it is worth $5 mullion and that it is VERY expensive. (hide spoiler)]

Oh no! I had a few more books I could've added. I just couldn't get to my reviews but it was fun while it lasted!

Alaina, I'm sorry but I've gotten behind on my reviews. I'll try to catch up by tomorrow and post my books I've finished. Also, I can't remember if we have to wait 6 months or however long for a re-read but I just read a book around the 9th and then re-read it yesterday for a buddy read that I had messed up on (read the book too soon and forgot about the BR until I saw a reminder). Can I still use that one? I haven't used it yet so I assume I can use it but I can I add the BR for points?

I definitely agree with you on all of what you said here! Sam (view spoiler)[was way too hard on her mom and should've understood that it was (as you said) her mom's trauma. But she is only 14 and that explains it! lol I can't imagine living through what Abby did and now having to worry about her kids is really frightening for her. Also the way that Wilcox made her lock others in and all I can't imagine the guilt she would have lived with...she was so young! (hide spoiler)]

Yes, I am ready for book 2! Buddy read it, of course. I will be in Canada (like I haven't told her a dozen times already) from the 20th through 30th so either before or after!

I couldn't believe how easy it was for them to (view spoiler)[walk into that school and start injuring people! hatter cracking his gun against Thelma's head and for what?! Caterpillar shot Ramirez just because he pushed him. The Watchers are scary types of people. Conspiracy theorists are way out there most of the time and they sure are! (hide spoiler)]

Didn't Zachary (view spoiler)[name himself Hatter because he thought of the "badass creepy one" and so I guess he thought of himself as badass AND creepy! The way he described the girls at his old high school and wanting to kick down doors and all that made me dislike him right away. (hide spoiler)]

Guess I am behind again but I'll get to this one either tomorrow or Friday. I'm so glad you loved it!
