I agree with everything you've all said so far!! I'm thinking maybe instead of the High Five joining up, the three will. Wade may get the second by himself.. But I bet him, Aech, and Art3mis team up for the final one. Just a guess.

Ya the whole thing with IOI definitely made things even MOVE interesting. This has literally become life or death for Wade.
I'm kind of excited for him to be leaving the stacks behind and getting his own apartment. I don't understand how he's planning on staying indoors in a place with no furniture (and I'm guessing no food?) until the quest is over. I mean, if he passes out, he's not going to win either. He needs to take care of himself I feel like..

Loving this story so far! I feel like it's SO unique! It's like nothing I've ever read before.... Like someone mentioned above ^ SO much thought went into planning this out!
I'm so happy that Wade is doing so well! I'm sure that Aech is gonna be pretty pissed once Wade calls him back. I'm sure he would have done the exact same thing though... Every Gunter for himself, right? Unless you're part of a clan, which they aren't.
I loved the scene with Art3mis. For some reason, I was thinking that only ONE person could get the key (so since Wade did, Art3mis couldn't) but obviously that wouldn't work. That wouldn't be fair because then only Wade could actually win...

That was a super interesting prologue. Now that I've finished chapter 5 I'm REALLY pumped to read about how the heck he manages to find the first key! I mean, he doesn't even leave the planet his school is on! I thought the first chapter or so was a little slow, but I'm definitely interested now! Lots of world building going on! I was born in the 90's, but I still get a lot of the 80's references! Excited to read on and see what's going to happen!
What did everyone else think of the first few chapters? The world our main character lives in is pretty depressing... but OASIS is pretty dang cool sounding.

I've started watching Friends now that it's on Netflix (can you BELIEVE that I never really watched it before? Just bits and pieces) and I've been LOVING IT. Oh my gosh it's so great!
