As some of you may know I have a terrible memory when it comes to recalling the plots of the books I have read.
Seeing this article in the NYT gives me a little hope and shows I am not alone.
http://www.nytimes.com/2010/09/19/boo...DO others here suffer from the same poor recall? If so how do you battle it? Do you even try to?

You mean the speech he gave at..."Yeah I read it two times that week and I need to get myself a copy.
Thanks for posting the link ELizabeth, I have seen this book before on Amazon but haven't considered purchasing it, until now.

I'd love to find away to experience it again in a different way. "If you remember the title of this book be sure to let us know. There are a good deal of DFW fans in these parts, myself included.

I'm not happy about knowing this but the answer is, "Royal Squire"

Maybe you could fake it, and just read every 3rd page. There isn't an exam after finishing, is there?"I finished it and read every stupid word. I like Shel's idea of a typographical error drinking game using this book. Though even if we substituted water for booze we'd likely die from hyper-hydration.
I'm am glad to have moved on to
Summer Crossing by Capote. There is something so light and nice about his prose.

Man I hope this thread catches on. These are great!

I may join in a week or so. I have the book here, but I am currently in the middle of two others.

Anyone have a link to that thread? It shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone who was at the Dork but I can't remember this guy.

Maybe the problem is that the bottle was from 1998 and you drank it in 2010.

Sorry, slight change of plans. It seems that if I want to spend any time with my two adorable nieces and their parents,..."Holy cow! That place looks great! I'll go!

Nevermind, I found the Shuttle service link and I should have no problem getting back on sunday.

My flight leaves at 11:30am on Sunday morning. Depending on when I can hitch a ride/shuttle back to the airport I may need to leave on Saturday Night.

Man, i didn't realize the scope of Wylie's client list. It's insane!
