I'm in SUCH good mood - I see Patty and Jean-Paul the day after tomorrow!

I'm happy with what you suggested above.

Thanks Mo and Patty and everyone who's put the oomph into this!

Thanks for reviving this, Patty. I don't think we've ever left it this late before!

Very frustrated that I can't download-then-upload my photos - my batteries are "exhausted". Hope to do so tomorrow.
Viva la Dorka! Christmas for the chosen family.

Mo, best news ever!
I think the omnivores still outnumber the herbivores, so you'll be fine!

I'm getting excited!!! Bought my swimming costume already!

Aye aye, Dan. Copying from Facebook.
"Last night I dreamt all of us dorks at the Dorkapalooza got attacked by zombies. We all became zombies, but civilised ones, trying to learn how to survive our plight (there was a corkboard reminding us of things we valued when we were human beings). Pretty exhausting existence - we were ambushed by more zombies, then by humans trying to annihilate zombies, then by ourselves as we negotiated our way between our human and zombie selves. Oh, and we became rather promiscuous once human morality started failing us. That was quite some Dorka."

THANK YOU PATTY!! I love you guys, all of you!
I'll put my flight details on J-P's favourite spreadsheet (cheeky snigger)

I'm planning to drive down on Sunday, and I can drive through Sacramento and pick up Lara at..."
Thank you so much Martha. However, my flights have been changed unfortunately (not by choice), so I'm not sure the new time will suit your plans. I arrive at Sacramento airport at 20:20 on the 21st, which is a bit on the late side for the three-hour (right?) drive to El Dorado. I'm wondering if I should stay the night in an airport hotel and catch a ride with anyone who may be driving down on the 22nd. I've updated the airport spreadsheet - can drivers let me know if they can pick up this lonesome cowgirl?
Fingers crossed for Mo making it out!

Noooooooooooo!!! Gutted that my Jennie won't be there!!! Will miss you something silly. Good luck to you and your boys from me too.

My favourite section from the Rules of the House:
"During your stay you are more than welcome to explore the grounds of the ranch but should at all times be accompanied by at least one other adult. We do have various types of wildlife that live on our property including bears, mountain lions, and wild boar. (It is a good idea to always hike with a walking stick!)"
So the way to protect yourself from bears, mountain lions and wild boar is to carry a walking stick. Who knew.

folks had better start booking flights as they're getting more and more expensive by the day!
