5. Overall summary of your reading month?

In this sequel to Eyes of Prey, Bekker endures the indignities and horrors of imprisonment, taking comfort in the fact that it is only a matter of time before he will make Lucas Davenport pay.
Book Discussion

Funny Story by Emily Henry and it’s one of the best rom-com’s!
my review

The Other Side of the Road by Andrea Bartz, Never Tell Collection #2, and it’s a creepy story with a basement!

I finished reading The Last Duke She’d Marry by Anna Campbell, Scoundrels of Mayfair, #3, and it has a great Shakespearean theme!

- "I don't like romance" - why are you reading a romance novel?
- "This is book X in the series and I'm confused as I didn't read books A-W" OR "I didn't know this was book X in a series" - Um...Goodreads lists the book # next to the title?
- "This book contains X trigger" - did you not read the book description?.."
We should start a topic to talk about review pet peeves. Nothing drives me crazier than to see someone complain about being lost when reading the 20th book in a series they’ve never read. But then they claim they don’t mind reading out of order.
I’ll read reviews from trusted friends (or skim them) when deciding to add a book to my shelf. But never close to when I plan to read it. I don’t even read the blurb again!
Rant over.

I noticed that many in our group like Sally Hepworth so when I saw this audio book available on Netgalley I grabbed..."
Hepworth is one of my most favorite authors! Glad you enjoyed.

The Ghost Writer by Loreth Anne White, Never Tell Collection #2, and it was deliciously creepy with a great twist.
