This happened to me years ago. Ten years worth of reviews just gone. And they will never answer you.

FYI, I haven’t missed posting there and it hasn’t hurt me in getting books for review.

You’re right to worry about “GR” management as it’s all under Amazon. (I don’t backup anymore because everything is also on my blog and Instagram. ) They don’t understand this community and show it daily. Back in April, a bad actor in their support group removed by Goodreads librarian status for an incorrect reason. When I challenged that, he stated that there “numerous other violations” that had never been communicated. Made me take a test (I passed) and still wouldn’t reinstate. I used the contact us feature to question how my 13 year history could be nullified so casually. Two weeks later I was reinstated without question. Consequently, my other complaints (challenge tool being broken for a year, etc.) were suddenly addressed. I think someone above these fools took a look at the situation and addressed it.

There’s something seriously amiss at Amazon and it’s affecting our community.

Enjoy those concerts, Anita. They sound like fun! Hope you can get some reading in during jury duty. I’ve been called twice, served on a jury once as foreperson. The one time I got sent home, it was after a full day. Fortunately, they allowed me to bring my kindle and I finished a book.
