5 books - pretty good since I was on vacation for 3 weeks (went home to NH to visit family).

I finished reading Winter Loon by Susan Bernhard , 3 ★. It was a nice coming of age story, just not my favorite genre. Here's my review.

I like the idea of starting from the beginning. I have already read The Prey and plan on reading The Hunt soon.

I completed 2 series - Maximum Ride series by James Patterson and Big Stone Gap series by Adriana Trigiani.

1 - I started the The Forest of Good and Evil series by Gena Showalter. The first book just came out, but I do plan a continuing.

3. Did you move forward in any series? How many?
I moved forward in 1 series: No Evil Trilogy (#2) by Allison Brennan.

4. Any standout or 5 star books read? Why did you love it/them?
I really enjoyed Home to Big Stone Gap (Big Stone Gap #4) by Adriana Trigiani. I actually loved the whole series.

4 books, not bad. I need to start adding more standalones to my reading list.
