Merry Christmas everyone!
We had a very silent night (we don't use the "Q" word in the 911 business) at work last night, so my coworker and I binge watched Virgin River on NetFlix. Oh my goodness! I'm loving it and will probably start reading the series in January. I'm hooked!

I finished reading On a Snowy Night by Debbie Macomber and started reading The Witch’s Kind by Louise Morgan.

I have a lot of standalones that I want to read this year and I don't have many series that I can get up-to-date in. Most of the series I have started are pretty long. I'm going to stick with what I did this year:
1. Complete 3 series
2. Get up-to-date in 3 series

I finished reading On a Snowy Night by Debbie Macomber. It was a nice light read for the Christmas season and helped clear my mind from all the murder mysteries I read. I may have to read more books like this one. I rated the 1st story 3 ★ and the 2nd story 4 ★. Here's my review.

Nope

4. Any standout or 5 star books read? Why did you love it/them?
Only 1 five star read for me this month, but I enjoyed all the books. A Crystal of Time was fun and surprising.

5. Overall summary of your reading month?
5 books read this month and on track to reach my yearly goal of 60. I did throw in a few quick reads to help reach that goal, though. I'm glad I finally read Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbitt.

It doesn't look like much, but it's going to be a busy month.
