Forgot to add this earlier -
Finished #4 -
Fool Me Once by Harlan Coben - 3/5
Started #5 -
The Man You Scripted by Calvin Honors

Dagny - Sweet. I'll look forward to knowing your thoughts on the book as I haven't read any of Coben's series yet.

Dagny - You should give him a try. Some of Coben's books (mostly the earlier ones) are so good that he totally blows the mind, but sadly his newer ones are not that great.

Cheryl - He has written some really good books, but the recent ones are just not that great. I remember reading
Woods and falling in love with the story, but this book doesn't even feel like it's been written by him. :(

Started #4 Fool Me Once by Harlan Coben - PB
I'm reading Coben's book after almost 2 years and I'd been looking forward to reading it for a while now, but this book has failed to impress me yet (I'm 25 pages in.) I just hope this book turns out to be as good as his earlier ones.

@Ryan - Wow! Good picks. I've been meaning to read the Bosch series by Connelly but just can't seem to find the right time. Though I'm hoping to start this series soon.
Happy reading!

@Dagny - You were so right! This book was epic! And trust me, you'll have a blast reading Lost City, though now I can confidently say that it is not as good as Monster of Florence. But close. ☺

Finished #3 - Monster Of Florence - 5/5 - A mind-blowing book!

Started #3
The Monster of Florence - needless to say this book already feels so promising!

#2
The Little Yarnmouth Abduction - 5/5 - A beautiful, beautiful mystery read!

My first turned out to be a DNF... ugh! I was really looking forward to reading this one!
So, Book 1 -
Sting - 1/5 - DNF at 10% due to seriously sleazy comments by the protagonist and due to the overtly erotic content.

Maybe because it was an international delivery. They actually canceled it without even telling me (I found out about it accidentally!)
And now it's not coming :(
Anyway, I really want to read it as I loved the first one. I just hope it won't lose the appeal like it did for you. I hate it when series turn out to be uninteresting in the later parts.

I still haven't received my book Dune Mesiah :( I hate Amazon :\

Oh, I have something entirely off topic to discuss (or maybe not entirely, but well...) has anyone here watched or is planning to watch Lemony Snicket's A Series Of Unfortunate Events NetFlix series?
Dagny wrote: "Yes, the relaxed guidelines are the reason I might be able to include Queen of Atlantis. Haven't a clue what its main genre might be - historical fantasy maybe. But since the main character is accused of murdering his friend in the desert (a desert in Atlantis?), it looks like it might fit. "Sounds intriguing! A single murder sounds promising enough to be listed as Mystery. I wonder what genre it might turn out to be. Do let us all know, Dagny :)

All the best Julia and B.R. Kyle!
