
"I can't stay here forever," Cally pointed out. "I have a life you know."

Cally sighed. "I'll have to find somewhere to stay. I've got some friends."

Cally looked at the tv. "What are you watching?"

Cally shrugged. "Because you're a police officer."

Cally nodded. "I half expected to wake up in prison."

Cally sat down next to him. "How long have you been up?"

Cally glanced at his boxers and blushed.

Cally got out of the bed, blinking. She walked out of the room, rubbing her eyes.

A little while later, Cally woke up. She sat up and looked around, a bit disoriented.

Cally stirred in her sleep, mumbling something.

Cally focused on the tv. She yawned.

"Thanks," Cally mumbled, wrapping the blanket around herself.

Cally shook her head. "No."

Cally sat down next to him. "Okay."

When he had gone, Cally found an old T-shirt and put it on. She kept her jeans. She walked out into the living room.
