"Hello," Cally said from the kitchen. "I have taken the liberty of making dinner."

While Markus had been gone Cally had showered and had doned a clean T-shirt.

Cally sighed and put her head in her hands. She couldn't tell him anything, even if she wanted to. He was a cop, and anything she said about anyone put them in potential danger.

Cally looked at him. "And I'm sorry. I really am. But I can't tell you."

Cally sighed. "I can't tell you."

"The council lies," Cally said. "I've seen it."

((Okay.))
"Why'd you become a police officer?" Cally asked. "To get revenge on the Resistance, right? It helped them."

((Okay. I'm guessing she's working FOR the Resistance or something, right?))
"How," Cally repeated. "Do you know the Resistance killed your sister. You weren't there. Where's your proof."

Cally sighed. "How do you know the Resistance killed your sister?"
((By the way, is his sister dead?))

Cally glanced over at Markus.

"No," Cally said. "But I'm still afraid."

"To trust you," Cally said.

Cally didn't return the smile. "But I'm scared."

Cally sat down too. "I want to."

Cally blushed. "I-I don't know."

Cally was blushing. "When you kissed me. I wasn't sure if I could trust you."

"No," Cally said. "I still was unsure about you're loyalty though."

"You're not sorry about it," Cally said. "And neither am I."
