I agree, (view spoiler)[the ending frustrated me. I am currently reading Iron Heart (second book in the series) and I find it very frustrating that they are not together in the first part of the book. (hide spoiler)]

Hi! Same question for the same book that I just asked in the Book Quest Adventure Q&A (thank you for your answer btw ❤️). If I read a graphic novel with more than 30 000 words, how do I calculate page count? The book I will be reading has 343 pages.

How it Fits: The book tells the story of Japanese women in the US during WW2. Several of their husbands get snitched on to the police by neighbors for "collaborating with the enemy".

What do you put in as page count for graphic novels? I will read The Complete Persepolis next month. It has 343 pages, and according to ArBookfind sites it has 43 000 words. The Standard Challenge Book Requirements say to calculate pages as Page Count × 0.25 but with 343 pages it ends up being less than 100, even though the book has more than the required 30 000 words.

I usually don't plan my books either, but think the first one I will read is The Complete Persepolis, if any of you want to join let me know. I'll use it as my genre swap as it is a graphic novel, and it counts for the MPG for the month :D

I had an uneventful Easter Holiday that helped me get out of my recent reading slump, so I got a lot more reading done this month than I usually do 😄

Do any of you want to do a Buddy Read or two with me for May? What books have you planned to read next month? I am down to read any type of book, and if it is a genre I don't usually read, it's even better as I will be able to use it to get the Genre Swap Bonus 😉
