139735 I would imagine that would be renewed? Or do the requirements change, or funding change? I swear, we defund the most valuable things...
139735 Ashley, I think I'm 120 pages in. How are you liking it so far? I can't binge it as fast as you are, but I have book 5 from the library already. (They just keep getting thicker...😳) I think book 4 is kinda slow so far, but I think it must pick up pretty soon.
139735 Nice! Lol, one classic I've tried multiple times and just can't do lol. I'm working on the 4th Dungeon Crawler Carl, but likely won't have it done by our next turn, so it can be a chonky book for next time.

139735 Claire, not sure if you're into a Big Brother type thriller, but I really liked Everyone Is Watching. I think it was a 2023 or 2024 release in the US? Do you need something older than that?

139735 Yeah, I was thinking anything Holocaust as well, but oh gosh that's heavy...

139735 I found a Jewish author: Elyssa Friedland. In case either of you are looking. :)

139735 Oh wow, sorry to hear that. That's so cool that there are public mobility options available though! Smart and accessible!

139735 Not sure Murderbot 3 would work for any of these for me. I'm reading an intimidating book already, but we won't get bonus points. Tbh, there's only one book I've tried and abandoned in recent memory, and I own it and I have too many library books to read, so no bonus points for me.

I have a couple books that I can check for unreliable narrator or paranormal, so that should be fine.
I'm kinda stuck on Jewish though... I'm gonna throw my current reads into ChatGPT and ask if any of the authors are Jewish, because I have no idea how I would even find something for that.

139735 I am biting my nails down waiting for next tasks! I'm like anxious excited lol, because the tasks can be 😱 but I'm so curious!!! 😝

139735 That's good! Is it a DMV thing? I can't stand the DMV lol, and I live near a really nice one now.

139735 Sounds yuck! No rush, I'm not sure what I'm reading for the next prompt. It sounds hard but I'm probably overthinking it.

139735 Wow, that's a lot of buddy reads. Most I'm not familiar with, but I don't read witchy or occult books. Not my vibe.

139735 Done with my reads. That was horrifying. 😳

139735 Can I just say that this AI book has me internally screaming that this is why techies don't have smart homes... 😳😱
139735 Okay. Yeah, they are fast reads; someday I'm going to do a project comparing the old and new editions (long story, won't bore everyone with it lol), but that day gets pushed off indefinitely lol. The new editions of the original series are always 20 chapters; not sure if they deviated in the series continuation and spinoffs.
139735 I can also look at more of the banked books for TOC, unless you already have?
139735 Yeah, the Nancy Drew's and Hardy Boys are all 20 chapters. But you can legit drop it and use the banked book. Up to you. 🤷🏼‍♀️
139735 I looked at the Kindle samples for those books, and A Dark Turnover is 20 chapters plus a prologue. I don't think prologue would count? That's the only one that works; the rest are 19 or 21 chapters. 🙄 Do you want to use that or keep looking for something else?
139735 Beth, most of my Secrets of Castleton Manor or Chocolate Shoppe Mysteries are right around 20 chapters. Off to a bad tart doesn't work though, since it's 21, and I don't have any of the other physical books anymore. I'll look online and see if I can find out for others still in the log?

139735 Do you think it's gonna be okay if y'all read it this week and I read it next week? Assuming it will fit, but let's face it: how will it not? I've already started my AI book. :X
