I think I have a couple dark romances that are supposed to be no-spice. So that's probably what I'm heading towards, unless by some miracle something I have from the library is Dark and I don't know it.

Beth, I have One Night on the Island that I can read for this. I found the audiobook to go along so I'll get it started.

Lol, same... I thought if we weren't doing the quarterly challenge as that challenge, and only doing it for Solar System, that we could use any month's prompts for our reads. I think that's what the answer is updated to, so won't go back and review my books, but yeah, I massively misunderstood initially then too.

I don't think any of my books would qualify. I'll start looking for an Irish book though, since I can use one for another challenge but I was gonna skip that prompt lol. 🥴

Okay, glad it's optional and doesn't affect your choices. I love challenges, but I feel like I'm barely hanging in there with what I have going so I don't want to add on, especially as we're getting into holidays. :P

Also, it may take me a moment to find a Dark book, but that's gonna definitely be my outside of comfort zone book. Hopefully I have another inheritance book lurking, since I read those spooky ones last month. 🤣 And it looks like I'm finally gonna finish a series with ghosts lol. Been putting that off for months. But needless to say, I don't think any of my imminent reads will work. 😭

I don't fully understand the notice that got put up. We can choose to play as individuals as well as team? Or are we required to do both? Do we all have to make the same choice since we're a team?

I don't have a problem with trading properties to start building; that's part of the fun. I'm just not sure what mechanism is in this game for property trading, and we would want to make sure we get good value for what we're trading. Example: I didn't look up the property values, but we shouldn't necessarily trade a $300 property for two $60 properties, as we're losing $180 off the top. It's unknown whether anyone would land where we have built in order to make that lost value back again. 🤷🏼‍♀️

The only shorter books are from Beth, Mrsgeo, and Emilie, so I checked Emilie's book and it's a romance, so I'm gonna assume there isn't a detective there. So I think you should be good to finish our turn, Beth, unless you want me to write it up, but since you started I don't want to just jump in. :)
