Kinda weird. Usually the captains are paying attention at least... Or maybe they're trying to decide what hard genre to give us. 🤦🏼♀️
Sounds good! Hopefully it's not a hard genre. This is one of those spots where we earn extra on our pages, right?
It could be our turn imminently. SFS has started their turn. I'm not even halfway through my big book, so I think it's just gonna have to wait for next time, or be something lucky we can use for better earnings, or go in our retirement account at the end of the month. 🤷🏼♀️
Yay Salary! And we get more salary with Go! :) Sigh, I'm just starting a book, and I'm LOVING it so far, but idk that I'll have it done tomorrow. I'm into a 500 page book, but I'm slowly working through it. It's a short story collection, and yeah, it's a process.Haha, I was scared to land on the Subway; I completely did not understand it. It looked like it skips us all the way to the end of the board, but that seemed weird. I kept looking for other subway stations...
That's not bad. I have to read my Train book, and there are three other books I should be reading too lol. So I'm not in a rush. 🤣
That would work for me as well. There's a train, with passengers, and they're foreigners to me. 🤷🏼♀️
I swear random number generators are sometimes biased. 🤣 At least we used a short book, and rent was cheap!
Okay, I have a train book too: The Passengers on the Hankyu Line. Japanese short stories, looks kinda cozy, so maybe TRAIN, FOREIGN, and PASSENGERS or TWIST? I don't know there's a twist in my book, but typically there is some sort of plot twist somewhere, especially since the stories tie together somehow. I might have to stretch but I think it could work. Thoughts, suggestions, revisions?
Hehe, I don't like dark academia either. ;) So that's just gonna be a struggle bus. I'm really hoping the book I'm thinking about has enough tags to have an MPG. Indie published books get so screwed over...
Oh gosh, another random prompt lol:Together we have to choose three random words, and then all three must be represented in the title/plot/vibes.
Before we toss out ideas, how do we want to approach this? I'm thinking maybe some more generic words that go with the book vibes? Like, an example word is STORY (and if you like it, maybe that's one of our three, but I'm only using it as an example); I have a book with that word in the title, but could also be a book where a story is featured (like Princess Bride) or a character reads a work of fiction. Thoughts? We can also consider our future reads and try to find middle ground, like we did for the common word prompt. :)

Mrsgeo, I have the same problem... I usually have to fill in title and author before options are available. :P I figured that is just Google Sheets being slow though... Maybe Excel would be better, but then I would have to see all my work files lol.
