139735 So we could do this...

You choose to quest for a cure.

According to The Folly of Woven Fates, only a ritual known as the Verdant Severance can cleanse the lingering threads of wild magic. But it won’t be easy. The ritual must be prepared using symbolic tokens found through very specific types of stories.

Your tasks are:

Find a book where someone cries. You’ll need the emotional depth of a tear shed in sincerity.

Find a book with a character who sings or plays an instrument. Music unlocks the petals of magic still dormant in your blood.

Find a book where someone lies and gets caught. Only truth revealed can cleanse deceit that clings to your soul.

Find a book where someone gives something up for another. Sacrifice is the root of reversal.

Find a book that takes place mostly in dreams or includes a strange dream sequence. Magic lingers in liminal spaces—especially between sleep and waking.

(Bonus task) Find a book that made someone laugh out loud. If you can bring laughter to the surface, it may be the last step to severing the sproutling curse.

Collect your findings. The ritual begins under the next full moon.

139735 oh. there are 4 choices. and I think the story only applies of we look for cure, but chatgpt helps with that. it can even probably provide some tasks too.

139735 I'm reading an O right now too
139735 Janine. I replaced your second selection on the food. You had Blue Eyed Stranger there. I had one that fit.

139735 I love that they got to go back to her too. I don't really think I remember the 2nd one, but the 3rd where they have Lucy and are back with Kai Ren. I may re-read later in the year. Never know when we need another Space book.
139735 I'm starting this tomorrow. I need it for Tree on Tudor and to finish out Olympics.

139735 I finished today. It breaks my heart how he ends up dealing with his Dad's death. He's only 19 and doesn't know what to do so he just fights.
139735 Like is this historical or south central? WTF. LOL. I'm about 25% done.

139735 I forget how creepy it is when he tells everyone the faceless are coming.
this one is my favorite of the series
139735 The Narrator is very good. I probably would not keep going if it wasn't for listening instead of reading.

I just don't even know where to go with this....so I'm gonna wait for my comments until Kirsten reads and then I'll pitch in. (I'm reading for Red Dragon).
139735 Umm. The language is throwing me a bit. I just started my listen. Its seems ok if I can ignore all the swearing and derogatory terms.

Yeah. very matter of fact.
