The Trial of Mrs. Rhinelander by Denny S. Bryce

A book based on the actual Rhinelander vs. Rhinelander case in 1925 in the USA. Would have worked better for me if it actually focussed more on the legal proceedings than staying put on the outside of the courtroom.

There's one on my page right now! I had read and reviewed it in Jan 2022, but for some reason, it's popped right on top of my feed.
GR keeps doing this randomly, I've no idea why. It is not as per user but as per books. it first started a few weeks ago with Dan Brown's 'Angels and Demons' which appeared at the top of the page of every user who read it, regardless of the year. Since then, it has been a fairly regular situation. Only GR knows what's happening, I've given up trying to understand.

Are you sure you have the book title right? There's nothing coming up even in Google search, which is odd. Even deleted books would show up somewhere or the other. Also, authors can't delete a book on Goodreads. Only librarians can.

One more thing to check, actually. When you say you are rewinding the audio, are you beginning from the last chapter? Because there's a bug in the Shelf app: it rewinds only till the start of that specific chapter. If you need to go earlier, better to navigate through the table of contents and try. Maybe this will work.

if you have downloaded the audiobook to your device, you can replay it as many times as you want. But if you were listening to it only by streaming, then you won't have access to it once the archive date is gone by.
That said, the NG Shelf app has been problematic since yesterday for downloads. So your issue might be related to that as well. They had put up a message on the Dashboard page that they are working on it. I am not sure if it has been fixed yet but I can't find that announcement anymore.

Yup, that's why I said "many". I haven't downloaded anything today, but 3 reviewers from the USA were facing the same problem, while it was working fine for others. There was a post about this in the NG reviewers Facebook group. So there definitely was/is an issue for some accounts.

No, it's not the American 6/8, but the British one. 6th August is the archive date. :)

Many are facing this problem since morning. Just wait a day and see. I've had the issue thrice before, and when I retried after a day or so, it worked. You can also try restarting your phone to see if it resolves the issue.
