Enjoyed this graphic novel memoir much more than I had expected. Thought-provoking and funny.

Nice enough, but I expected more, I guess. It didn't affect me the way I thought it would.

Don't go by the drab cover. The story is mind-blowing. Not for everyone though. Check out the triggers.

Not exactly as I had expected. But I loved the parts about hummingbirds!

Finally a second translated work by the author of Kim Jiyoung, Born 1982. Unfortunately, this one falls somewhat flat, but it is a decent read for lit-fic lovers. This title was on NG too but my request was approved through Edelweiss.

Yet another memorable novella by the Irish author. Loved the emotional impact this creates.

A Jewish historical fantasy that works pretty well. I enjoyed this unusual story despite struggling a bit with the Yiddish terms.

SFF with a literary twist. Not bad, not good.

It was a fun read. If possible, grab the audio version. The narrator is awesome!

This has happened to me so many times! 😂😂

This is a well-rated book but I didn't like the story as much as I had expected. The ending was farfetched. So here's my outlier 2-star review.
