I loaded it on my Kindle yesterday.

I could go with a short, and free Kindle book!

I'm about 100 pages into this thing and frankly, I'm not all that much engaged. Still confused over all the characters, and what seems to me a lot of unnecessary page-filling verbiage.
Since we are all in this together, I will stick it through, but I hope things pick up for me!

Nope, no scavenger hunt for me. Was I missing out on life?

I'm still not that far into the first section. Frankly, I've found the thing very confusing right off the bat. Perhaps this summary and character list will help me through this!

Fine with me. We are expecting heavy snow today through Sunday morning. I just hope the power doesn't go out!

Don't rush for me, either.

As I re-read my comment, it should be "I may be able to..."
Recording the sessions would be pretty difficult, given the room and the circumstances.

I'm on chapter 5. OK with me if it goes a little long. My copy is 385 pages!

I many be able to send a copy of the powerpoint slides!

I’m excited to report that I will be teaching a class starting in May, called “The World of Agatha Christie”. It will be four 90-minute sessions in a program here in the US called OSHER, which is a life-long learning effort, coordinated through various universities to provide educational presentations to [ahem] older adults. I’ll be doing this in Pittsburgh, at Carnegie Mellon University.
I’ll be discussing her books, of course, along with the movie and TV versions, as well as her life and its effect on her writing. I’ll be sure and keep you posted, should anything interesting (unexpected) crop up!

I was thinking movie because of the wide variety of people who were at the party, ages and types.

I should have ordered this earlier, especially since it is pretty long. I just did, though and it should be in late this week. Don't wait for me, though, I will join in when I get it.

And I was sure the darts were inserted manually. Well. at least one of them was!

Julie certainly was annoying. Do you think this would make a good movie?

I didn't have a clue. There were so many people whom Rex knew fairly well that I thought could not have possible done the murder, that I was left with only a few possibilities. And I thought Ace's sleeping and handicap might have been all a sham.
Well done book, and with a proper, clue-based ending. Thumbs up!

Well, I am almost finished--I got most of the last section read, up until the final chapter "Conclusion". Rex has apparently solved the case and is ready to let us know!
Frankly, I am stymied. There seem to be lots of clues, which is very good, and I am anticipating a well thought out and supported conclusion.
I will finish today, before I return to this thread, so please feel free to discuss, spoilers and all!

I can't remember whether Rex knew Ace all that well, before this evening's entertainment.
And now we find out the Margarita is in fact the next in like to inherit the Fraser estate!
I am nearly out of this second section and will start the final soon. I know Tina is already finished. How about you, Nicole?

Ace provided an alibi for himself and for Margarita. That seemed quite odd to me. Do you all believe it?

The motive does seem to have something to do with the property they recently inherited, and the possibility of gold present. The chance of it being there is quite vague though, at least so far. Perhaps the murderer knows more about this than the rest of us. Something must center around Jason and the coin he found and didn't want to report.
On the other hand, the power comes back pretty soon!
