Feel free to use spoilers in this final section. Though I'm not there yet.
When we left the last section, there were lots of hints about Ray not being a former classmate or Holly's at all. Surely, though, the sheriff or even Holly could confirm that. I don't plunk for his as the culprit, since he seems too suspicious at this point. More likely there for romantic tension.
Still unsure about who, though Paula seems the likeliest, though we haven't learned much about her.

The Murder of Twelve is unavailable from my library (all copies are out!). It is $7.99 on KIndle, which I can manage if we decide to go that way.

Actually, we don't see a ton of the reported, though I am still thinking the fact he claims to have gone to school with Holly and she doesn't remember him seems a bit odd.

I'm savoring the read for this holiday season, but I will try to get the final part started in a few days. This year the Christmas season seems to be going faster than ever!

Nicole, not many, or it would be a much shorter book!

Hello, PugMom. So sad hear of your pup. I know what that is like and it is so difficult.

There is no lack of things happening. I'm about half way through and now another "message" from the murderer!

I'm thinking there might be a tussle, romance wise, either with the sheriff or the reporter. Unless the reporter is the murderer, then between the sheriff and the ex. (Assuming Tina is right about him coming back.

I was just out clearing the sidewalk and car. I measured 10 inches in each of three different places!

Yes, I'm not sure if that is a good thing or not, Tina! It must feel comfortable for her in a way, though. And I think there is a later book in the series, so I'm betting that she is staying in the little town of Mistletoe.

Quite a busy day yesterday, with one thing and another, but we are snowed in today, so I will try and move ahead on the book. (Maybe 8 inches of snow at this point here in Pittsburgh!)

I'm a huge fan of Wodehouse as well as Christie (duh, obviously), and at $2.99 on kindle, I would be totally up for the book to discuss!

I'm wondering about that France guy, given now that the restoration group is being involved money wise.

Get well, Tina. Cookies will be ready!

Doing lots of baking. And giving them away as much as I can. To friends, the garbage men, my fellow volunteers at the two volunteer project I work at.
Today is cranberry nut bread!

I'm midway through this second section, so I thought I start up the discussion. Holly's efforts to gather information about Margaret seems to have caught the attention of the murderer, with a nasty "message" on her front porch.
I think it is probably safe to exclude the sheriff as the culprit, seeing he seems destined for Holly herself. Not so sure about the reporter. Seems nice, but I have a feeling... There is a pretty clever trick (though Holly didn't seem to plan it that way) where she finds out a little something about money coming to Margaret and the restoration society.

Good choice, Tina! I'm not terribly fond of the kindle, but it is fast and usually inexpensive!

This book is sure clicking on all the right things. Cozy café among them.
Holly is attracting interest from two guys, so far, including the sheriff. The reporter, though, sounds fishy.

I didn't realize who was on board yet, but Nicole has already got me beat! I'm nearly out of the first section and will start part two soon. We can wait for Tina to get her book.
Shipping is crazy nowadays. I ordered two things from Kohl's about 10 days ago. One item came in two days and I'm still waiting on the second. Supposed to be yesterday, and now the estimate is Saturday.

What the heck indeed. Package delivery is all messed up!
