125752 Larissa got straight A's her first college semester?! OMG that's awesome!
125752 I think I'm about 2/3 of the way in too. But I'm loving it as much as the first one. For me, the narrator brings the story to life.

Goodness Claire, that is really a housefull. My niece was due on the 27th, but he came early on the 18th.

I'm still debating offering to cook Christmas Eve dinner. It'll just be me with my daughter's family but like Cassandra's mom, I'm not a great cook so I always worry the food won't turn out right.

It took me all month, but I finally finished it. It's a super sweet romance. My favorite part of it was the Brittishness. 😊

I look at groceries I've bought for years and notice prices 2-3 times higher than I used to pay only a couple of years ago.

125752 Me too Stacy. I'm finishing wrapping today and one more grocery run either tomorrow or Saturday. I did take a nap. Don't know why I'm so tired.
125752 I'm not too far in yet, but man, the story is still so good!

125752 Pick Me Challenge!!!

1. Create a new shelf or update your existing shelf on your bookshelf that includes approximately 20 books that you would like to have someone use to pick a book for you to read. Books will only be selected from the shelf you choose.

2. By the end of the month, post in this thread that you want to participate and provide a link to your Pick Me shelf. (If you've participated before, I already have your link and you don't have to re-post it.)

3. On the first day of the month I’ll use the randomizer to pair up everyone.

4. Friend your partner who is picking for you or set your profile to public or your partner will not be able to access your shelf.

5. You have until the 3rd of the month to post your selection for your partner in this thread.

6. Come back after finishing the book selected for you by your partner (even if it's after the month has ended) and let everybody know what you think about it.

Sign up period will remain open until the end of this month.
