How long have you lived at that address? Recently I had a purchase delivered to my old address from 2 years ago. By accident! Too far for me to go ask for it and I had an uphill battle with the company who shipped it.

Same Di. Since I moved a couple of years ago I have better library access including Hoopla now. Between those, Audible and the Kindle Unlimited listens it's not hard to find an audiobook. But I get really behind on our BRs when there is no audio available for them. I had 5-6 on my "read NOW" list that didn't have audio.

I remember Kathy used to always talk about the assistive reader she used. I tried and tried to get one to work well with Kindle but even the paid ones have trouble with these proprietary books.

I'm super excited. As long as I can get past the sometimes unusual inflections on sentences I can get some of these past BRs read by listening to Alexa. It buys me a lot of time when I can listen doing other things with my eyes and hands.

I doubt it Stacie. It's been steadily warming up for weeks. I'd say we've hit Spring early this year. *knock on wood*

Since I've been struggling with reading and many of our BR books are not on Audible, I'm trying out the Alexa assistive reading. I've finished one book and started another. It's slightly annoying but I've heard worse, even from paid narrators.

I've tried other "read aloud" apps, but Alexa is highly integrated with Kindle which is the magic button for me since the Kindle books are the ones I read most.

I'm just rambling. But also hoping I'll get to more than one BR per month now.

The temps are supposed to drop this week. But I sure enjoyed a little gardening last weekend. Got a rosebush in the ground and cleared out the winter from the flower garden. I hope it warms up for next weekend so I can plant some petunias. I've seen them around and they look fine. I love all the colors.

When I was young I packed like I was moving to another country. Now that I'm old, I can carry what I need for an overnight in my purse. 😂
