I think I am going to do that. It may turn into a big deal but oh well... I also have an excuse because by MIL had knee replacement surgery at the end of October, so I am going to take food to her and my FIL. Both of her daughters moved away and will be with their kiddos that just had babies. So we need to go be with my in-laws for the evening. We will eat at my mom's early. Maybe it will work out.

I only have one to go, and I already know what I will read, but I’m stuck in the book I am reading now, so I don’t know when I will get to it."

Yay Claire!!! I'm so happy.

Yeah.. I more than hint. I tell her straight out. She may or may not actually help. The biggest problem is that my mom is going to say something critical, then she will throw a fit and leave. But maybe not this time... LOL

125752 Confession: I hate Thanksgiving. It just stresses me out to the MAX! It is so much work and my family gets on my last nerve. My mom and my sister are GUARENTEED to get into a blowout. We all hold hands and say what were thankful for. *eyeroll. J and the boys always leave to go the his parents and grandmother's house. I have to stay at my mom's to clean up the kitchen! My sister don't do diddly squat and my mom doesn't make her because she doesn't think she can cook and or they have already gotten into an argument. I have to cook most of the food, clean kitchen, and take the food to my mom's then clean her kitchen. AND THEY ARE NEVER READY TO EAT WHEN I GET THERE. So! I have to finish cooking whatever my mom was supposed to cook- usually bread. While she complains about how tired she is... Meanwhile my sister ain't doing a damn thing to really help. Then I have to carve the turkey and ham. Sorry for the venting... I know I sound really ungrateful and unthankful. But Thanksgiving is way more contrived than Valentines day. I don't know why I don't feel the same about Christmas Eve dinner. Probably because it's just more relaxed and not as much emphasis on "The Food". Plus, I took over Christmas Eve from my mom a few years ago. I like when I can just do and control everything from the beginning. Plus I am much more relaxed at home. And J's family comes over too. If they want to. Christmas Eve is my SIL's bday.

Anyway... sorry about the rant. 😕

125752 J came to jump the car off. It's the battery. We'll get a new one tomorrow. Just an inconvenience and annoying, thank goodness.

Shy is a big time jerk at first. And for a while actually. And I hate that too. When the guy flip the argument and the girl ends up apologizing. UGH!

That sound good.
We don't really eat gravy. We eat cranberry sauce. Not nice fresh cranberry sauce. The Ocean Spray jellied stuff that has the can rings as a cutting guide. LOLOLOLOLOLLLL!!!!! My mama made (very good, I will say) fresh cranberry sauce one year and we all were like, "Where is the jelly stuff!?" 😂

Lol! You have been inspired! If I change anything on holidays, my family will revolt! If I try do try something, it has to be an addition not a substitution.
