I've never used the cheesecloth either. I just thought I'd try it. Maybe it helps keep the breast moist. Yeah, the dark meat cooks slower, so definitely measure in the leg or thigh.

He did! He is a persistent guy. And it looks great! 3 more to go... when he has time. But we did already buy them, so hopefully it wint be long before he installs them.

Hi everyone! Here is basically my turkey recipe. But I don't use cajun seasoning, I use more savory Thanksgiving seasonings- poultry seasoning mix, rosemary, thyme, salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika. But yeah, all that butter. 🫠 And I have never used the cheese cloth, but I might try it this year.

I get to work from home today and tomorrow. Then holiday pay for the rest of the week! I'd always taken this week off work, but now I get paid!!

Sorry I've been a little mia. The day went kinda crazy. I started off organizing and cleaning out the pantry. Then I got ny nails done and I LOVE THEM! But then J called a tech to come look at the wifi cause it keeps judt dropping off. Had wait around for him then he made Jerrick mad because he was talking down to J.... Then, my sink in the bathroom starting a not so slow leak. So Jerrick and I went to Lowe's to get new faucets. Now he's putting it in and the one we had has been in for 25 year. It is resistant to come loose and building/plumbing things have been upgraded from 25 years ago... he's saving to "make it work". Plus, the hairballs and just gunk in the pipes is DISGUSTING! 🤮
He's still working on it and he has to leave really early in the morning to go out if town for work. Poor guy.

The end of that game yesterday was so wild. Giants and Cowboys are both crappy teams. I can't believe they both get the Thanksgiving game. The networks should have changed the schedule. Jerrick is still all in... 🤦🏽‍♀️ Makes for a stressful few hours. I really have zero faith in the Cowboys.

Judy, Idk why I didn’t see your message earlier... I hope both your sil and mil get better soon. I was thinking about putting up the tree this weekend, but I think I will go ahead and wait until next Friday. That's usually when I pit it up. Inless we go to HS football game. If they win tonight- which they are currently winning 31-7 at halftime, then on to week 3!

Happy Friday everyone!! Snow, oh my goodness! It's been in the 30s the past couple of mornings here, but I hope no snow soon. Or ever... lol. I waa watching some of the football game last night, and that was crazy how fadt that snowstorm came in. And how much!

I think the fame and ornament waa a fantastic gift to go with. It’s something they can use and a keepsake. I hope the weather is good for the party. I don't have any big plans. I was rhinking about putting up Christmas. But I will just wait until next weekend.
