oh really? was that from a news article, or one of capote's books, or just a quote he just threw out there like he so most famously did?? i have read capote extensively. he's quite the writer too. i get into the southern gothic stuff myself. flannery o'connor is great!

hello papa??
hey, i just called to ask you a question.........???? lol!

it's a pamphlet

doesn't have one that i can see.

i like them all too, i mean they make the story, for sure. i feel that way about all of papa's characters too, otherwise, why would i keep reading, eh?

she was annoying to others in her ways ,like francis seemed annoying to her. have you noticed annoying people marry each other?? ha!

yeah, he got margot in the sack, and now she's basically fucked because she has no husband, and now with the competition gone, wilson is not interested in her either. is that what you're getting at?????

lol!

ok, did i already deliberate,or do i need to do more of it, brad????

well, spoken!! so, you're a fan of faulkner's too? wow! we should meet someday! we'd have a lot to talk about!

yeah, the result alright. death of her husband!

here's one..... there are others..... i can share as many as you want. name your poison.....
here goes.....
THE ERNEST LIBERAL'S LAMENT
I know monks masturbate at night
That pet cats screw
That some girls bite
And yet
What can I do
To set things right?
more poems???? *evil smirk* lol!

maybe that's why he left, so he wouldn't kill her. so ,now he was thinking of blowing away his wife? i thought you had mentioned suicide for himself? i am so overwhelmed. maybe that's the point, eh? that being overwhelmed makes us make snap decisions, and we need to count to 10, or leave "the cottage" to make the best decisions. hmmmmmmmm?????

lol. point well taken, brad!

i agree with you , brad, and personally, i don't know about you, but i think hemingway worked so hard to be "macho" for a reason. do you think he had something to hide, that maybe would be much more difficult to hide today?
what do you think?

it's a little booklet i bought in key west florida, for $1.98.
shall i share one of the poems with you?????

really?: no interest?? these were published but banned in the united states.
i thought people were always interested in things the censors banned!ha!

Anyone interested in one of Ernest's suppressed poems???
Let me know.
Gary

ok, brad, i just reread it. the wife doesn't ask about nick till after the doc puts the gun back into the corner. so, doc could have thought about nick on his own,or maybe he was thinking about taking the gun outside to look for dick, changed his mind, and then thinking of nick after his wife asked for him to come inside the cottage??? what makes hemingway, hemingway,is it's all left to interpretation! wish we could ask papa himself, eh?

i am going to have to read it again!
