:0) I'm so reading that Chicago Star series backwards!! I've only read books 7 and 6 so far. (I know, who reads a series backwards!! How strange!!) I'm ready to start a new book today but I'm having a hard time picking which one to go with. I found a "K"title with an "F" character in
which would finish up an overdue challenge for me but I'm hesitant to read it because it's almost 400 pages, and it's book 4 in a historical fiction (not one of my usual genres) series I've never even heard of before! So, if anyone has that book on their shelves, please let me know because I'd give in to a gentle arm twisting if it also gets me another stop in my travel challenge! I'm kinda easy like that!

We visited the United Center so that I could see where the Blackhawks play and I read Heartbreak, Tennessee by Ruby Laska, which is on Hina's to-read list.
Jennifer, hope the mail comes bright and early for you tomorrow and your book arrives safely! I didn't even know until this morning that hubby had today off from work. I mean, I knew it was President's Day, but I didn't think it was one of the holidays that his work observed.
Oh well, we had a nice relaxing day, since the kids and I are home too (we're home all week because of our February school vacation). We went grocery shopping this morning, cooked a roasted chicken dinner for an early afternoon dinner, rearranged the furniture in my 9 year old's bedroom, and then have been putzing around watching tv, doing some housework, surfing around the web and finishing up a book and now I have to decide on which book I want next. Oh, and I finally cleared level 103 on Candy Crush saga!

Being the spontaneous traveler that I am, I've just completed my 3rd stop on my travels, flying from California to North Richland TX to visit ❥☪LIZZ NEILL☪❥.We drove into Dallas so that I could see the American Airlines Center, which is where the Dallas Stars call home ice. I read a quick and light cozy Dying for Dinner Rolls by Lois Lavrisa, which is on her to-read shelf.

Yesterday, I finished books 1 and 2 in the Beautiful Mess series (book 3 won't be out until May or so - UGH)
by TK Leigh At least book 2 ended in a better place for me than book 1! Needed something light so I started
