I love this series! LOVE IT! This story features rock star Leo Nash (Meg’s brother) and Samantha Williams (Luke’s sister)

 photo bb635e65-0d0e-43aa-8213-f951f3c41bc1_zpsdb1a1ab5.jpg

The two of them met at the end of book 3 (Play with Me) and their meeting was pretty comical...
“So Sam, what are you doing later?”

“I won’t be doing you.”
“Uh, I wasn’t offering, honey. I was wondering if you’d like me to take you to have that stick pulled out of your ass.”
“Nope. I like my stick right where it is.”

“Let me know if you change your mind.”

“You’ll be the first to know.”

Leo Nash is a rock star. He is the front man for the band Nash. He has come a long way. From living in foster homes as a teenager, to being one of the world’s most popular musicians. Besides Meg and his band, he has no real family.

When I first met Sam Williams in Come Away with Me, my first thought was- what a bitch! But she really isn’t. She is just fiercely loyal and protective of her family. They are a famous bunch, and she knows all too well of the users out there. She keeps to herself, doesn’t really date or have a lot of friends because she fears people aren’t wanting to get the real her, but wanting a connection through her family. Her loyalty has lost her her job. Sam is stubborn and tough on the outside, but she is a very kind and good person.

Leo and Sam become friends. Since Sam has lost her job, and Leo is on a break from touring, they pick up running together every morning... then he and Sam hook up. Sam doesn’t really do relationships, so she is familiar with the ‘friends with benefits’ routine. Leo sees so much more in Sam. He wants her. He gets under her skin, and it scares her to death.
 photo 96799921-6173-4799-81cb-fbc71e68def7_zpse2f2dbf9.jpg

Sam and Leo are cut from the same cloth. They are both stubborn and have trouble letting anyone it. The more time they spend together, the more they both start falling for one another. Leo knows how Sam is, and he respects that. He tries to be there for her in a way that won’t scare her off. All he wants to do is love her, protect her, take care of her.
“I know you’re strong and independent and I respect that, but this is who I am, Sam. I take care of what is mine. You’re mine.”

And I love his nickname for her...
“Why do you call me sunshine?”

“Because when you smile, you light me up inside.”

 photo ac67fa37-649f-452d-aa1d-2254498b6655_zps9cac06c6.jpg

I just loved Leo! It was great getting to look into his past. He was intense, but sweet, understanding and HOT as hell!!!
“As soon as I get you home, I’m going to fuck you until you can’t walk.”

“Promises, promises.”

I was surprised with how much I liked Sam. I was nervous I wouldn’t love her, but I did. Once I understood why she was the way she was, I respected her for it. She and Leo were great together.

As always, I loved getting to see the rest of the ‘with me’ gang! Luke & Natalie, Nate & Jules, Will & Meg, and the rest of the many characters in the Montgomery clan! I can’t freaking wait for Caleb’s book!!!!! So excited! I also loved getting to meet the rest of the band members of Nash- they were awesome!

This is a fun, sexy, and terrific series! Can’t get enough! Once you start this one, you won’t be able to put it down! Enjoy Leo and Sam’s story <3

I’ll take you hard, and soft, and every way in between.” He grips my face in his hands and looks down at me, his nose touching mine. “I’m going to fuck the shit out of you.”

Oh God, yes!

I have loved every single book in this series and Rock With Me is no exception. This time it’s the turn of Leo, Meg’s oldest friend and famous rock star and Sam, his Sunshine. Sam is Luke’s sister and we had a pretty harsh introduction to her in Come Away With Me when she acted like an arch-bitch to Natalie but, now we understand her reasons behind it, it’s hard to dislike her.

I love series like this – you have a complete story in each book and a beautiful happy ending but you’re constantly in touch with the whole Montgomery gang and we’re able to keep up with those characters that we’ve fallen in love with in previous books and Kristen Proby does this so very well. Everyone, heroes past , present and future, all remain steadily in character and it’s totally believable. You really feel that you’ve come to know these people as friends and I read the scenes where they all get together and rib each other and just have so much fun with a big ole goofy grin on my face. I love the camaraderie between all these characters.

Leo is a slightly edgier hero than we’ve seen from Kristen before. He’s all rough edges, tough harsh exterior, covered in tatts and piercings but, deep down, right where he’s trying to keep it hidden, is a heart of gold and he’s falling in love with Sam. He tries to resist it, he’s convinced himself that he doesn’t do relationships, doesn’t believe that his lifestyle leads to much trust and he tries to play it cool and keep it just physical but there’s a spark between these two that will not be denied.

He escorts me to the door, his hand on my low back, and as we wait for our hosts to answer the door, he leans in and whispers against my ear, “As soon as I get you home, I’m going to fuck you until you can’t walk.”

I swallow hard, but grin sassily. “Promises, promises.”

Sam is prickly, tough cookie. She’s had a relationship end badly in the past and she’s scarred by her experience and is slow to trust and doesn’t want a relationship either but, the more time she spends with Leo, the more intense their physical relationship becomes, the harder she knows she is going to find it to walk away and fears getting her heart broken.

“Samantha, I’m not going to make love to you tonight. But I’m going to kiss the fuck out of you.”

They’re both stubborn, set in their ways and it takes a long time for both of them to see the beautiful thing that is building between them. The edgier theme continues as their sex life is decidedly more aggressive than we’ve seen before in any Kristen Proby book and there’s some ferocious and incredibly erotic sex scenes as well as beautiful emotional scenes where they are clearly making love, not fucking.

“I’ve never in my life felt like this,” he murmurs and continues to make love to me.

“You are everything I’ve ever wanted, Sam. More than music. More than anything.”

There’s a few standout scenes for me – the first time that Leo & Sam kiss in the garden during a family gathering, the scene in the rain when Sam gets a flat tyre and there’s a smokin hot rocking chair sex scene that will probably be forever etched in my memory!!

Another nod must go to Levine, Sam’s kitty – I just adored him!!

 photo leolevineblogfit_zps45925a6b.jpg

I loved every second of it, never once did my attention start to wander and I never felt the need to skip. I do think both Leo and Sam are slightly edgier central characters than we’ve seen from Kridsten Proby before and the angry sex was decidedly edgy but that's not a negative for me – in fact, all that pushed this up to the first five star rating I have given for this series. I very much enjoyed their snark and their sarcasm and the snappy one liners they were constantly coming out with. They made me laugh. Lots of times. I love the way Leo calls her a brat and the way that Sam doesn't take any crap from anyone. They’re just another couple to treasure in this thoroughly enjoyable series.

The pacing is beautifully done - the characters slowly get to know one another and, as a reader, I really enjoy the growing feelings between them and Kristen Proby seems to do that better with each book she writes. It's never instalove or sappy - it feels more genuine, more realistic. The central couple always start off fiercely attracted to one another and the deeper affection builds slowly - I like that they never declare their love straight away and I like that there's always barriers that have to be broken down, a reason to wait for the happy ever after.

So, this is the first five star I have given for this series and if you’ve enjoyed Kristen’s books to date, you’re definitely going to love this one. Caleb and Brynna up next – can’t wait!

Rock With Me Kristen Proby FINAL zps42b7bdf8

Rock With Me by Kristen Proby is the 4th book in 'With Me in Seattle' series, and i think it might have been a tiny bit better than book 3. That's sayin' something, cause i loved book 3, especially Will *wink*.

"Don't ever lie to me, sunshine. I don't ever want you to run until your legs give out on you like this again. The only time your legs will shake like this is if i'm inside you."

Meet the main, lovely, characters!

Leo is a famous rock star around the world. He's used to having woman crave his attention. When he meets Sam he thinks she's no different. But, when Sam opens her mouth, he quickly changes his mind. He's intrigued by this sarcastic, gorgeous and bitchy woman. Raised from foster to foster house, Leo has trust issues. Because of her brother's fame and the fan accident that followed, so does Sam.

Together, they must overcome their past so they can have a future they both crave, and deserve.

I wasn't so sure about this book, because (let's just put it out there) i did not like neither Sam or Leo. When i first met Sam in book 1, i was like 'bitch'... GTFO zpsa9eb34c6

.And i didn't like Leo in book 3 because i thought he ditched Meg and stole her song. But now, Sam and Leo...

"I'll take you hard, and soft, and every way in between." He grips my face in his hands and looks down at me, his noise touching mine. "I'm going to fuck the shit out of you."

I loved Sam. She is like twisted version of myself, so obviously i could easily connect with her. She was sarcastic -
"I run." She shrugs . "Run?" I ask. "Yes, you know, where you put on sneakers and move quickly in a forward motion?"
But she is also a caring, kind and fiercely loyal woman, even though she doesn't show it on the outside.

Leo was awesome! I loved reading how he rocked on stage with his cool band. And even though i'm not a fan of guys who have tattoos on, like, 50% of their body, i have to admit i rather loved the 2 stars on both sides of his V next to his hips *swoon*

Leo and Sam's relationship was beautiful. I loved how understanding they both were, and how many things they had in common. I hated what they both went through in the past, but i loved how that bought them together. They were both scarred, but they fixed one another. At the end they were strong, loving individuals, who trusted. tumblr meoq9l Lqd51rtc12g zps37329a85

I loved being able to read about the previous characters and couples - Jules&Nate, Nat&Luke, especially Meg&Will and all the others. I also loved the fact that we got to know Leo's band members and their families - You rock <3!

This book made me feel all warm inside. It was so hot, but sweet at the same time. Did i mention that i love Sam? -
The sweet nine-month-old giggles as i blow rasberries on her neck and clunches my hair in her tiny fist. "Uh oh..let go og my hair sweetie." She giggles some more and tugs at my blonde starnds into her mouth. "Ew. Do you know how much product is in my hair, girlfriend? It's definitely not edible."

Overall,

Can't wait to read Caleb's and Brynna's story!

Thanks to Lisa, Christy, Katy, Gertiebee, Katya and everyone else who did the buddy read with me! Love you all, ladies! You're awesome!

The With Me In Seattle series is a seven-book series that focuses on a family that lives in,you guessed it, Seattle. Each book centers around a different couple, but we will continue to see the characters that we love from the first books, all the way through to the end.

If you know me you'll know that i am IN.LOVE. with Seattle. So this series were extra especial to me. So far i loved this series . It is funny, sexy, overwhelming, and absolutely beautiful with great AMAZING characters. There is not one character in this series that i didn't love.Which is saying much, i'm very hard to please when it comes to my characters.

Honestly in Play With Me i hated him, i really thought he abandoned Meg. and in this one we see how much he LOVED her and how much he cared for her.

IN Come Away With Me i HATED Samantha , she was a bitch . in this one she is still a bitch, but a likable one. I love her attitude in this book. I understand her now, her actions, what she said and what she did to protect her brother, it was justified.

I feel sorry for her, i'm very glad i get to read from her point of view, i really liked her, she is a great character.

3.5 Stars!

It pains me to say this...but I think this might be my least favorite in the series so far. I loved the last two books and was so excited for Leo Nash.

Unfortunately, I wasn't a big fan of Sam. And if I am being completely honest, I just didn't feel the emotional connection to either MC that I have in the other books in the series. I loved Nat and Luke, Jules and Nate, and Will and Meg.

There wasn't much story going on either...and very little conflict. The book was mostly sex. Now, normally I am not one to complain about that...but to me, this sex wasn't as hot as the sex in the other books--hello, apagasm anyone?? And believe me, Kristen Proby can write sex. I also found it a bit of the same thing over and over again....I love your eyes. I love your eyes too. I love your ass. I love your ass too. I love your naval piercing. I want to lick your stars. I love your lips. I love your lips too. And Sam was CONSTANTLY looking at Leo's lip piercing. Dare I say, some of the dialogue was even a bit cheesy.

I really can't even tell you what the book is about. It wasn't about much. Leo and Sam meet at the end of Play With Me. Leo is back in Seattle taking a break from touring with his band. Sam has just lost her job. They basically hang out all day....have sex....she goes on a few job interviews...he writes and records her a song....her picture shows up a few places....she gets mad at Leo....they make-up.

Again, I am a fan of the series as a whole....this one just wasn't my favorite. Brynna and Caleb's story is next....

3.5 ROCK WITH ME STARS.

What is it about a character that's a rock star with tattoos and stormy grey eyes that has us all so hooked?

Despite my stingy three and a half star rating there are serious Bonus points for this fourth book of the series -starting point I LOVE seattle, Washington, so this ticks my homesick for stateside box. I always enjoy a Male alpha (especially a rock star one). Easy peasy reading style the books flow with ease and enjoyment ~ Curl up, enjoy no heart stopping angst or heart break. A well written story line. Leo and Samantha's story was nothing short of lovely jubbly and boy could Leo talk all kinds of book dirty.

I've said this before in a previous review of this series but I love how the author makes family and friends a focus of the story everything centres around love, laughter and soul smiling connections, it's a real added bonus for me. It brings a greater pull for me as a reader to feel involved in the characters life and this story is no exception I felt welcomed into the gatherings and get togethers ~ LOVELY.

Now down to the reason of my rating, well in all honesty it's my own fault, it's the same issue I've had with all of the books in the series. The dreaded FALL IN LOVE IN AN INSTANT. I can't remove myself from the fact that this disappoints me. Aside from that this story has a killer combination of funny, sexy and sweet ... and I KNOW I'll be onto the next book.

The author knows how to write sweet and sexy! Both lead characters were book sexy ~ tattoo'd rock god and feisty independent female lead. In addition this author loves her HEA, which of course makes me one happy camper.

❤❤"I love the way you kiss me."

❤❤"you make me tremble when I hold you like this, your skin glowing in the moonlight you have me all wrapped up in you."

3.5 heading towards 4 stars!

Ps note to author I NEED Caleb's story ASAP ~ pretty please ❤❤

I just finished an ARC of this....and wow....I needed a minute before reviewing....that's how much I loved this one. Kristen has had me under her spell since "Come Away with Me"----swoon worthy men, each different and unique in his own way---but, what I truly adore about Kristen's leading men is how their world changes when they meet these women (and Kristen writes a hell of a leading lady)....and how none of them are afraid to deny it to themselves or anyone else in their lives. They are changed by her and instead of running away from that, they embrace it and rearrange things in their lives in order to profess their love. To me, this is SWOON worthy!!!!

Leo....oh Leo....where to begin. I didn't think anyone could out-do Will Montgomery in my head.....but, Leo did. He seriously did. His devotion, his intensity and his take-no-bullshit attitude....sa-woooooon. Almost everything this man said made me smile. His inner monologue was FANTASTIC. Every time he called her Samantha, I got chills....seriously. LOVE HIM.

Sam kicks all form of ass. I ADORE her. She's a total smartass and many times made me laugh out loud while giving Leo a hard time. She stole my heart away very early in the story and I became more and more attached to her as the story continued.

As usual, we get a really nice glimpse into the other "With Me in Seattle" characters---Natalie, Luke, Jules, Nate, Will and Meg (which I LOVE)----and these glimpses do not disappoint AT ALL.

Grab this one as soon as it's available. You won't be able to put it down!!!

Leo Nash Hardcore Tattooed Guy who's a Freaking Musician! *time to swooning & Squeeing*
description
Leo a Rock Star and lead of the band NASH , a guys who's life as a teenage spend into foster homes, he don't do relationships which means beside being world's most popular musician he only has Meg and the Band in his colorless life where he has no one he can call family.

He's was on a break from a tour when his world collided in actual means with Sam. Sam has lost her job and on morning runs they somewhat become friends.
Samantha Williams
description
Sam a very Protective, Sarcastic, Stubborn Bitch!
She doesn't like it when some tries to help her
She's an Independent women.
And just like Leo she also don't do relationships either, just fuck buddies.

It was clear as glass in Leo & Sam`s situation that they both are stubborn as hell and don't like the idea of anyone getting into their lives.

But when it comes to Leo it appears like he's not as hard headed as Sam. He wants to know the real Sam, what's her story that`d made her Bitchy Ice Queen. And when he was determined to break through that Ice Sam has pulled up around her, he didn't give a second thought to her bitchy attitude.

By doing that Leo sneak not only in Sam's life but also in her heart.
But when her secret comes out, she totally lost it. She gets mad at Leo
because she has trust issues, people had used in past to get to her brother and in Leo's case she imagined the same reason behind him getting to know her. This caused a hurtful comments they threw at eachother, but Sam didn't knew that Leo won't give up until he wins her back which say's enough that Leo's life is nothing with Sam in it.

The attraction between them is like a firecracker and steamy as hell!
Leo was used to fuck groupies, no kissing, caressing, Spooning and cuddling. It wasn't his thing, but when it comes down to Sam, she rocked his world that it doesn't matter how many times he have her it wasn't still enough.
"I'll take you hard, and soft, and every way in between." He grips my face in his hands and looks down at me, his nose touching mine. "I'm going to fuck the shit out of you."

Oh Sweet heaven above Leo & Sam made me hoorny when they intimidate...

“I don’t ever want you to run until your legs give out on you like this again. The only time your legs will shake like this is if I’m inside you.”
description

Leo actually adores Sam, there is certain thing distinct about her and Leo admires it.He desires this condition he receives after he is with Sam.He likes having person towards dub his and they possess so much fun together, shredding into one another and teasing. It was great towards see them both lent person within and hear towards believe again.

“I know you’re strong and independent and I respect that, but this is who I am, Sam. I take care of what is mine. You’re mine.”

All these feeling are new to Leo, but he likes them, he likes the idea of Sam being his and his alone, he likes the idea that he's the only person she let in life to help her through every coming obstacle.
And Sam realized it too that having someone in her life as an anchor doesn't makes you look unsubstantial but it gives you the idea of being belonged, marked, protected, cherished and loved.

That's what made Leo & Sam story extra especial....
The Swooning Erotic Romance and Heart-felt Overwhelming moments with the right amount of spicy effects is just sizzling.

“I’m going to make love you you until you’re shaking and don’t remember who you are.

Okay, I probably am biased because every book whose male lead is a pierced and tattooed sexy rock star is a good book to me. I've got a huge soft spot for musicians, but I feel the need to say this anyway: Leo Nash stole my heart.
I know I said that this series keep getting better with each book, and believe me, so far it’s very true, but I don't really think that the next ones will be able top this book.
I was swooning over Leo during the most of the book. (But hey, Will still stand pretty close!)

This fourth book is the story of Leo and Samantha. First I’ve got to talk about Sam… before I read this book I had a lot a doubts about her, even if she had redeemed herself after, she really was a bitch in the first book and I didn't want to read a book about her. After I started reading this book and understand her actions… well, she probably is one of my favorites now. She had strong reasons to act the way she did. Don't fool yourselves: She is still a bitch. But now she is a great and extremely funny bad-ass bitch.

Well, thanks to problems with celebrities in her past and thanks to being Luke’s sister, Sam hates the celebrity world. For being sister of a famous actor she already had too many people trying to take advantage of her and she also made some judgment errors in the past that doesn't help. So, apart for not trusting people, she also has this rule of never dating anyone famous.
Then enters Leo, Meg’s heart-brother, and they are immediately attracted to each other and he clearly wants her, but there’s this little problem: He’s the lead singer of Nash, one of the greatest rock bands of the US and he is extremely famous.

description

Well, they eventually get together… or else there would be no book, and their relationship is so great.
Leo is a troubled man… but is also extra-protective, sweet and obviously, extremely sexy. The perfect alpha-male.

description
And the way they make it work with each other, despite the fame and all problems that come attached, despite their pasts and all the reasons that they probably would never work, they really don’t give up... it’s amazing to see. I loved them. And I never thought I would say this about Sam, but she is so damn great.

description

The rest is pretty much the same of the others books: great plot, great characters, very good to see the old couples and their evolution through the several books.
After reading this series, one of the bests I read in a while, I now want a huge and great family like theirs. They make the books so much better and so much realistic.

Well, I’m done. Go read it, now! ;)

4 This Is Getting Good Stars
* * * * Spoiler Free-2014 Review
This was the fourth book in the With Me series and I feel like our author really hit her stride in this couple.

The book had depth. I understood all of the issues of fame; from the one being famous to the ones surrounded by those who are. Where you can never know why people wish to befriend you. It is a real problem and those not in that type of environment may discount the real pain it can cause.

Like all of these books, the Montgomery family is front and center giving a solid feel to these continuing books. The characters were fleshed out... we knew of them; they were familiar so it was easy for us to care.

I can honestly say I am very happy for Ms. Proby; she has found her happy place and it comes together with this installment.

Caleb is up next... the brooding Ex-Serviceman protecting Bryanna and her family.

"You.Are.So.Amazing.
Rock with me, baby"

A possessive tattooed rock star hero with a penchant for ripping off underwear? Oh I was ALL OVER THIS!!

I made an attempt to read the first book in this series, Come Away With Me, but after an overdose of "you are beautiful", had to put it down to maybe go back to later. This book was my first attempt back in this series. Boy am I glad I did, as it got so much better. I will be going back now to read the other two books and eagerly anticipating the future ones.

Samantha is the sister of Luke, the hero of "Come Away with Me". She is weary of relationships in general, but even more so of famous men. The last thing she needs is to get involved with a sexy as sin rock star. To say that they get off on the wrong foot is an understatement.

"What are you doing later?"
"I won't be doing you."
"Uh, I wasn't offering, honey." I turn around to see Leo smiling smugly. "I was wondering if you'd like me to take you to have that stick pulled out of your ass."

Leo is determined to get past Samantha's walls. Her icy attitude and hands-off demeanor intrigues him. Sam really doesn't stand a chance.

"Don't ever lie to me, sunshine. I don't ever want you to run until your legs give out on you like this again. The only time your legs will shake like this is if I'm inside you"

HOLY MOTHER OF SWOONING!

When Sam and Leo finally give in to the inevitable attraction, I thought my kindle would catch on fire. My god, but Leo had some of the hottest lines in the book...and the steam between them? Well I'd suggest keeping some ice for your ovaries as you're reading this.

""You like it rough, sunshine?"
"Yeah, actually, I do."
"Good, you'll get it. You'll get it soft too." He traces my ear with his tongue, sending shivers down my spine.
"Rough works for me."
He bites my ear, hard, making me yelp, then soothes it with his tongue.
"I'll take you hard, and soft, and every way in between.
I'm going to fuck the shit out of you."
Oh God, yes!

Did I also mention Leo's sexy possessive ways?

You're going to fuck me here? I hiss at him, shocked. "There are people thirty feet away!"
"Stop talking," he commands, his eyes feral and jaw tight, and damn if he doesn't turn me the fuck on.
I lean up on my elbows as he grips my hips and pulls me onto him, ramming himself inside my wetness.
"Oh God," I whisper, my gaze caught in his as he pushes in and out, hard, fast, over and over.
"Mine," he whispers and clenches his eyes closed. "Mine."
"Damn, Leo," I grip his face in my hands.
"He pins me again with those eyes. "You. Are. Mine."

Leo was such a fantastic hero. He was alpha all the way, possessive, sexy, but he also had an amazingly sweet side

"You make me forget how to breathe," he whispers.
"I love the way you kiss me," I whisper back.
"Good," he murmurs and offers me half a smile, his stormy eyes are lazy and heavy lidded. "Because I plan on kissing you a lot."

"Oh, sunshine, haven't you figured out that I'm completely in love with you?"

The only thing that kept this from being a 5 star story for me was Samantha. She comes off as very closed-off and cold in the very beginning. At times she was a flat-out bitch to Leo. I was fine with all this, since I figured that she had a reason for this behavior. What threw me off about her behavior is when

When we finally do get the reason for this, I just didn't feel like it was enough. Though I can get why she would be skittish of fame or being with someone famous, or even getting close or relying on someone, it just didn't feel like enough to me.

Other than this, it was a fantastic solid 4.5 stars for me. It was super steamy with a solid plot, great characterization, and a swoon worthy hero. The sneak peak we get into Brynna and Caleb's story already has me sold (a sexy SEAL? yes, please!).

This has to be one of the lamest books I've read recently.

One question, just one: Where is the conflict or the issues that make a story interesting?

Answer: Painfully absent!

Because there are no conflicts and no real issues that need to be resolved, this book is boring as fuck!

There are so many scenes that are repeated over and over that I had to skim through as I tried to maintain some shred of optimism that something might actually happen...

The dialogue is terrible. There's a lot of parroting, for instance: Leo tells Sam she's beautiful or hot and Sam says the same thing right back to him in the next line. Ummm, could it be any more unoriginal or unimaginative? It's like the characters can't think for themselves or something so they just repeat what the other said.

There are no real obstacle for the relationship at all! Everything is so quickly glossed over, hell there are things that are never explained like Sam's coldness. At one point, she explains part of her issue about the media to Leo but also states there's more she's not ready to tell him. She never tells him or the reader. There is a mention of a seemingly urgent "mandatory family meeting" in the final paragraph but then the author goes straight to the epilogue set two months later. WTF?!? There are attempts to make the story intriguing like leaked media photos, ex-boyfriends showing up etc. but nothing that's actually explored for more than a paragraph. It's pathetic.

There's no plot.

The only thing I did like was the close family dynamic and how comfortable they all were with one another.

I received an ARC via contest! Since it is not yet released this will be very broad to ensure no spoilers!

Kristen's ability to create yummy men who both have a heart and massive sex appeal is without fail just brilliant. We swoon, we get a little excited and we certainly get very grabby for our men. I think back to Come Away with me, just with the mere mention of these Montgomery men we all wanted more. And although Leo is not a Montgomery, he is just as yummy as the rest.

We met Leo in PWM, the boy who protected Meg and looked after her - the boy that left her behind to follow his dreams, but to ensure that she created a life that was stable. Leo was a boy without a family - without a home but grew up to be a man with one hellva heart. He is the lead singer of Nash, he is taking a break from non-stop touring to connect with Meg and finds himself in the mix of a massive family and a draw to a stubborn girl.

We know Sam. We hated her, finally understood her motives and fell in love with her as the big over protected sister of Luke - the sassy friend to Jules, Nat, Stacey and Meg. She has seen the damage fame can do to a person - how crazy the fans can be; after all she lived through Lukes, heart throb days and the crazy fan-girls. It is a life that she does not desire and she understands.

We got a taste of a bit of humor with PWM and I am so glad that carried through with RWM. These girls are insane (and these poor men!).

But even as Sam and Leo start to realize that what pulls them together can't be avoided, they both have parts of their past that make them who they are - these are things that they have to open up to each other about. These are things that they have to understand and accept about one another. But with KP you get to skip that urge to throw your Kindle against the wall. You get the hot sex (boy can she heat up the pages!), you get the romance and you get a bit of drama without overkill. Relationships are not easy or perfect but KP is able to give these characters depth and their relationships endurance without putting us through the ringer with trials of faith and trust. It is refreshing to escape into the lives of our fictional friends and just enjoy it. The W/me in Seattle series is the perfect escape.

For each story, my favorite changes. Although Will is still pretty high up there...I melted for Leo. There was just something more vulnerable about him. And I think we all love our boys a little broken.

We see a side to Sam that we got a glimpse of in PWM and we get to continue our journey with the rest of the clan. I love that although each couple gets their own story, that we don't have to let them go yet. Leo and Sam make one smexy couple. It's all sunshine an effin' Cupcakes ladies!

***5 Outstanding Stars***

Let me start by saying that I love the With Me in Seattle Series and I love that Kristen Proby writes a beautiful, sexy, steamy story each time!!! I know without a doubt that I will end her books with a big, fat smile on my face and be totally happy!! Kristen has tied in all the With Me books together. Which I absolutely adore!! You always get a little bit of past characters with each new story. Do you need to read the other 3 before this book, no, not really but like I said earlier, each new story includes past characters and if you know their story, it makes the read all the more better.

So this story is about Leo Nash, world wide rock star and brother to Meg and Samantha Williams, sister to a big time actor, Luke Williams.
 photo image_zps00a129f9.jpg

"So Sam, What are you doing later?"
"I won't be doing you,"......Leo is off limits. He's Meg's brother. He's famous, He's cocky as hell.
"Uh, I wasn't offering. honey. I was wondering if you'd like me to take you to have that stick pulled out of your ass."
"Nope, I like the my stick right where it is."
"Let me know if you change your mind."
"You'll be the first to know."

Their chemistry is intense and their banter is flipping perfect. Sam is a sassy, stubborn, independent, sarcastic spit fire who has been hurt in her past and vows to never be vulnerable again. Leo can't get Sam out of his mind, not sure why but she does something to him.
 photo image_zpsf963569e.jpg

She's sexy sunshine and I soak her in, enjoying every breath, every tentative flick of her tongue against mine.

"Don't ever lie to me, sunshine. I don't ever want you to run until your legs give out on you like this again. The only time your legs will shake like this is if I'm inside you."

Any woman who says that V in a man's hips isn't sexy is a fucking liar.

Their story is angsty and humorous and passionate. They both have issues but doesn't every relationship. It's the coming together of 2 souls that both think they don't do forever.

 photo image_zps75c1c865.jpg

 photo image_zpsfa2e29cb.jpg

I link my fingers with his and rub my thumb over the ink on his skin. I love his tattoos. I can't stop looking at them.

"Samantha, I'm not going to make love to you tonight. But I'm going to kiss the fuck out of you."

"Baby," he whispers and gently kisses me. "I've got you."

He's attentive and caring. He's amazing in bed He's funny. And I just want to lick him.

"I know you're strong and independent and I respect that, buy this is who I am, Sam. I take care of what is mine. You're mine."

"You. Are. So. Amazing." His soft lips brush over mine, back and for, over and over again as he begins to move inside me. "Rock with me. baby."

Leo goes and does what I think is one of the most romantics gestures that he could do.....he write a song for Sam, it's called Sunshine.

I don't wanna be your friend
"Cause I've already let you in
Every time I see your sweet blue eyes
I know I need to make you mine
My wall crumble...And crumble
So all you see is the real me

When you smile
Your sunshine hits me
And the shadow in my soul
They are gone

On how many times
Have I stared at your lips
Wishing I could feel them on me
When you're so close
Baby, I forget how to breath

When you smile
Your sunshine hits me
And the shadows in my soul
They are gone

When I run my have
Over your perfect skin
I know you see me
And not what I'm covered in
My walls crumble...And crumble
So all you see is the me I need you to see

I call you sunshine, he whispers and brushes his knuckles down my face, "because when you smile, you light me up inside."

 photo image_zpsedc61e92.jpg

I must admit that there is a line in the book that I just love...
"What shoes are you wearing?" I pull my super-strappy black heels out of my bag and hold them up smugly. "Fuck me shoes." Or as I like to refer to them as.....FMP's

I would most definitely recommend this book as well as the others in the series. When you need that super feel good, hot sexy read.....look no further!!♥♥

2.5/5 Stars

I really wish I liked this one more. Rockstar romance books are a serious guilty pleasure of mine and it always breaks my heart when I don't enjoy them. This is the fourth book in the With Me in Seattle series and follows the story of Sam (Luke's sister) and Leo (Meg's brother).

Sam — who we were introduced to in Luke and Nat's story — is known by many as a bitch. She's been hurt before and to protect herself she puts up very high walls which have proved to be unbreachable... Until Leo Nash. Sam has an undeniable attraction to the world famous rocker Leo, although she tries to deny it because she's been hurt by a celebrity before. Sam throws all her attitude at Leo but he doesn't stop trying to break down her walls and start a relationship with her.

I don't have too much to say about this book, I certainly didn't hate it...I just found it to be extremely underwhelming. I knew it was a lighthearted, easy read when I started but instead of being enjoyably simple, I found it awfully boring. Nothing exciting happened! There was no major plot points, no excitement and no great character development or growth. I wasn't looking for an epic read, but I was looking for something enjoyable and entertaining, this wasn't it.

On top of it being very boring, the characters and the relationship didn't really develop throughout the book. Leo and Sam got together very early in the novel and their beginning relationship was the same as their finial relationship. They were unbelievably close and familiar at the start which meant that they couldn't develop much as a couple from that point. The love scenes were pretty much the same from start to finish which added to my loss of interest in the story. I just wanted something exciting or swoon worthy to happen.

I also didn't like Sam as a character. She had been labeled a bitch earlier in this series which was due to her past experiences. This is all fine, but I didn't really believe her as a character. If would have been fine if she was attitudinal at the start and slowly opened up to Leo, but that didn't happen. Instead, she was a bitch and then she was nice and then she was a bitch again, she was a very inconsistent character. I felt as if the author forgot to make her bitchy at some points and so she randomly made mer mean and nasty throughout the story. She also had a lot of negative characteristics which made her seem like she just got all the bad traits from the first three heroines in this series. She was jealous, vindictive, unforgiving and very hateful towards Leo's career (the last one is kind of understandable due to her past experiences).

There were two things that I loved about this book:

1. Leo Nash!! The hero in this book was absolutely hot, swoon-worthy and everything I could want from a male lead. I loved him from the first time he was introduced, he was a humorous and very alpha male character.

“You are everything I've ever wanted, Sam. More than music. More than anything.”

“I don’t ever want you to run until your legs give out on you like this gain. The only time your legs will shake like this is if I’m inside you.”

I could write a whole review based off the sweet and sexy things that this man says! He is definitely one of my favourite heroes!

2. I also loved the family dynamic and large friendship camaraderie in this book. All the characters from previous books and this book have great banter together and a genuine family feeling! I really enjoyed the scenes where everyone was together and interacting!

Something to take into account about my feelings for this book is the fact that all the books I've read this year (excluding this one) have been five or four star reads. I've had great luck with books so far and the brilliant books I've read definitely make others look a lot worse, which is wha happened here. Perhaps if I'd this book at a different time I'd have rated it higher (probably a 3 or 3.5).

My sweet Lord....LOL
Well, I have never ever LOVED the rockstar this much...hahhaha
This is so unexpected, they usually come with a line of fulfilled groupies and scandal and what not...
Well not this guy, he has a past, sure and he has baggage but not this kind and he's on spot, he's dependable and his dominantly alpha-like delicious...yummy

Yeah, you'll love Leo Nash *wink*

as for his love interest, Samantha Williams, I both loved and disliked her, it was kind of a jo-jo effect for me :/, I'm not sure how to categorize her, so I won't...LOL

anyways, I loved it in general!

4.5 Rock with me Star's

"You.Are.So.Amazing" His soft lips brush over mine, back and forth, over and over again as he begins to move inside me. "Rock with Me, Baby."

We meet Samantha back in come away with me, she's Luke Williams older sister she's cold and was a total bitch I really didn't like her so was a little reluctant with this story but I love me some rock star and I loved this series so went ahead and continued on, but I was pleasantly surprised I loved Sam, she's had to deal with a lot so therefore there are reasons to her behaviour that I may of misinterpreted when reading about her previously!!

When we meet Leo in play with me as All the clan are helping Megan to move into Will's house, we see Sam as cold... Leo also see's that maybe there's more to Sam??.....

"So Sam," Leo saunters over to me. "What are you doing later?" I take a deep breath and keep my face blank. I learned a long time ago to keep my emotions in check.
"I won't be doing you, Uh, I wasn't offering honey." I turn around to see Leo smiling smugly. " I was wondering if you'd like me to take you to have that stick pulled out of your ass." Well that hurt "Nope, I like stick right where it is." "Let me know if you change your mind."

As a sister of a famous Actor Sam has learnt to put her feelings, and anything about herself in a box and keep the lid tightly fit, she puts the walls up and rarely shows her true emotions so when she meets Leo he's the last thing she needs, she does NOT want stardom it's one rule she's learnt the hard way to stay clear from, but she doesn't need much persuading!! They start a morning meet up everyday they go running followed by breakfast so Leo slowly but surely starts to pull back those walls and encourage Sam to be happy!!

"Don't ever lie to me, Sunshine. I don't ever want you to run until your legs give out on you like this again. The only time your legs will shake like this is if I'm inside you."

Leo Nash is our adorable bad boy, sexy as hell, lean, tall, Tatt's-some lickable star's, piercings, he's also famous and cocky as hell. But Leo has also had a troubled past the same past along with his sister being brought up in foster homes from the age of 12 he's learnt to survive, he lives for his music and his band!! He's taking a break from his tour and has decided to spend some quality time with Meg-pie but stumbles on Sam and ends up falling for her!! This story is a little darker to the previous one's a few secrets along the way to deal with but they get their HEA a brilliant Rockstaring read!!

I loved both Leo and Sam, there relationship is sexy and lots and lots of steamy sex I'm always happy to read that!! Leo doesn't kiss or sleep with anyone so Leo is different to the normal bad boy rock star...
So when Sam enters his life he falls for her hard. Did I say he doesn't kiss...

Until...

Samantha, I'm not going to make love to you tonight. But I'm going to kiss the fuck out of you."

I love being back with the Montgomery Clan, I love these guys, some delishious and sexy men as well as some funny and happy ladies with there growing families, more babies and possible weddings in the future, there nights out are always fun. I also enjoyed meeting Leo's band Nash, It's not your normal band these guys had family's and were tight this has been Leo's family for years, I hope we get more on them as this series goes on....

You will also see Sam's bond with both 'Luke Williams' Sam's brother and 'Nat' Luke's wife that's also become Sam's best friend really enjoyed reading more of them even though they're too adorable at times I enjoyed Luke being the protective brother and Nat just being there for Sam.

Favourite quotes

"And I'm going to make love to you until you're shaking and don't remember who you are."

******

"I know you're strong and Independent and I respect that, but this is who I am, Sam. I take care of what is mine. You're Mine."

******

" I've never in my life felt like this," he murmurs and continues to make love to me. "You are everything I've ever wanted, Sam more than music. More than anything."

I love you too, Leo Nash. Every damn day."-Sam

Rock with Me is the fourth book in the With Me in Seattle series; however, you can read this book as a standalone. You might not know the backstory of all the side characters, but it doesn't take away from the experience. Samantha Williams has been burned by her baby brother's acting career and since then has sworn off dating any kind of celebrity. When she runs into Leo Nash, front man of the band Nash, she begins to reconsider that promise.

The chemistry between these two was palpable. However, my favorite scene hands down was when Leo came to take care of Sam when she was sick. It was so sweet and tender, it made my heart absolutely swell. Overall, I did like the romance in this. But there were several times were Leo would make a stupid move or say something so ridiculous and I couldn't help but roll my eyes at the patronizing masculinity of it.

I enjoyed the family aspect of it. Sam is really close to her family and it's only getting bigger as her brothers find families of their own. I loved the warmth from her brothers and their wives. I was kind of confused by Sam's unwillingness to let them in. She always acted like she didn't deserve their love, support or help when she was clearly struggling on her own.

I did enjoy this story overall and I was really intrigued by the bonus of the next book so I may just have to pick that up.

4.5 ROCK'N HOT STARS

I loved Leo and Sam's story.

Leo comes back to Seattle to reconnect with his foster sister, Megan. Leo is lead of the rising rock band Nash.

description

And for those who've read the book... Those Stars!

description

When he meets Luke's older sister Samantha "Sam", he changes his views on relationships and and if he can fall for one woman.

But Sam has her issues as well. She has no intentions of getting involved with "another" famous person. But when she's with Leo, sparks fly and all her walls come tumbling down.

description

description

Soon Sam and Leo realize they are meant to be together, even when someone from Leo's camp is duplicitous, hurting Sam in the process. She makes no apologies for how she lives her life and is almost too proud. She doesn't like to ask for help, but will steal your cupcake if you let her.

I though this was one of the best in the series. Next to Will and Megan's story, this was definitely one of the HOTEST. They are getting better and better. I'm really enjoying this family and this series.

Rock With Me is Kristen's fourth book in her With Me in Seattle series. I've read all four books plus the novella and I find myself still feeling like I can't get enough. RWM is the story of the sexy musician Leo Nash and ice princess Samantha Williams. If you remember, Sam is Luke's older sister; the super mega beyotch.
Leo is the super schmexy front man of the hugely popular band Nash; we met him at the end of Play With Me (Will & Meg's story). I found myself liking Leo from the start; he's funny, sweet, thoughtful and while I normally do like my rock stars to be a bit bad I liked that Leo wasn't, all of Kristen's leading men are genuinely good guys and I like that Leo followed suit. What I liked best of all is he calls Samantha out on her ice princess routine constantly! One of my favorite lines from him:

"I was wondering if you'd like me to take you to have that stick pulled out of your ass"

which just pissed her off to no end, naturally lol! Me on the other hand, I giggled. But being the persistent man he his once Leo realized he wanted Samantha he was a man on a mission! Samantha took a little more time for me to warm up to; even though she's been present since the beginning of the series there's not much we know about her other than she's Luke's sister and a total beyotch for the most part. As I kept reading the more I understood why she was the way she was and why she behaved the way she did and I'd say I was less than 25% in before she started thawing out for me. She did have her brief relapses into IP (ice princess) mode but Leo knew just what to say to bring her out of it. That's another thing I liked about him, he knew there had to be reasons behind Sam's behavior and he took special care with how he treated her; he always treated her well don't get me wrong but he make sure that his actions matched his words. I liked getting to know Sam better here and I loved seeing Leo helping her to lower her walls not only with him but with her entire family as well because you KNOW we get to see all the Montgomery's again :-) annddd OHMYGOD there's this part in the story with Will and Meg and he...and then she...and then they...hahahahahaha SUCKERS thought I was going to tell you? Read the book folks!
The sex factor is definitely raised in Rock With Me and you know meeeee that gets

I do love Kristen's naughty scenes <3

Like I said at the beginning, 4 books and a novella later I'm still just as in love with this series as I was in the beginning and to me that says a lot about a writer, Kristen has kept me a happy & satisfied reader this long and she still manages to leave me wanting more, every time I finish one of her books I find myself letting out a happy sigh of contentment. Not only do I want to see what she has in store for her next couple but I need to get my fix of the rest of the Montgomery's. Kristen is one of the author's that when I see my copy in my inbox I...

For me Rock With Me gets

and as I say in every review of her books if you haven't read them you really are missing out on a great series

4 hot and swoony stars.

I'm so tempted to leave a one word review. I'm pretty sure "yum-tastic" just about sums up this one to perfection.

This is by far my favorite of this series. Once again, this is a very low-drama, low-angst book. Leo is an incredibly perfect hero. Hot, tattooed, pierced (although he doesn't have "that" piercing) and he's a rock star.

If that isn't the recipe for the hot guy of all hot guys, I don't know what is. Oh, and did I mention he had a dirty mouth, and knows how to use it? Yeah, you get the picture.

I can't say that I loved Sam as much, but she only really annoyed me occasionally (and given that I haven't liked her at all in the pervious books, this was a big step up). She has her flaws, they aren't hidden, she knows what they are and chooses to embrace her inner bitch. She softens during the book (all due to Leo's influence) and I almost liked her by the end.

Sam and Leo's chemistry is off the charts. They are smokin hot from the word go, but the pure irruption of lust quickly becomes something more.

"Just let me do what I do best baby. Let me take care of you."

"It's hard for me to let people in, Leo."

"I'm already in," he reminds me. "And I'm not going anywhere."

Oh how Leo made me swoon. Wow, this guy has a way with words. And don't even get me started on the song. *sigh* I'd love to gush endlessly about all his sweetness, but I don't want to ruin it.

Part of me is a tad disappointed that they were not more nailed down by the end of the book, but I guess I'll just has to get my fix going forward. I'm thrilled we get Stacey's story. I'm more than a tad confused about what's going on there

Overall, a fun, sexy, sweet, swoony read.

"You are everything I've ever wanted, Sam. More than music. More than anything."

Let me start by saying Kristen Proby, you are AMAZING lady!! *MWUAH* How do you do it!! Rock With Me is everything I could have hoped for and so much more! Is there seriously a type of man you are NOT able to write because so far movie star, ex MMA fighter, football player and now rock star! All of them AMAZING!! Rock With Me had me up all night, I couldn't get enough of this sexy, romantic read!

Rock With Me is Leo and Sam's story, Sam is Luke's sister and Leo is Megan's foster-brother. Sam is one tough cookie, she never lets anyone in but who can resist a sexy tatted up Rock Star especially when he makes you see stars ;-)!! Just you wait ladies! I will admit that I did want to slap her a few times for being so damn stubborn! Try as she might, there is something about Leo that she can't stay away from. Leo just wants some normal in his life, somewhere to call home. Sam is the spitfire he has been looking for. Will he be able to gain her trust and prove to her that they are meant to be. Leo is dreamy, he's patient and you can feel how much he loves Sam right from the get-go! I love the fact that he isn't the stereo typical alpha male rock star that I have read so much of lately, thank you for mixing it up Kristen Proby!!! In true Kristen Proby fashion, you will find yourself laughing you ass off at the antics of the Montgomery clan. This is one family I wish I was a part of! Many times my husband would look at me like I had lost my mind because I was laughing so hard. I can't forget Leo's band mates and their families either, LOVED them all.

Rock With Me is another FAB book by Kristen Proby. I absolutely adore Sam and Leo but, Will and Meg are still my favourite couple. I do love all of the couples from this amazing series! Seriously, if you have not yet had a chance to read the Away With Me In Seattle series you are missing out!!! Looking for an easy read that will have you turning page after page wanting more. Rock With Me is romantic and funny, sometimes angsty and HOT as hell! I dare you not to fall in love with Leo and Sam!

the book seemed rushed and disconnected, the heroine is not nice.
I did not understand the connection between Sam and Leo. I am not sure I would have liked Sam to be with any other type of hero either, she had a lot of growing up to do and this made for a unpleasant read. She says it about herself in the book that she is not a nice person, to paraphrase the more commonly used term for this, I agree, she was. Now why would I spend money to read about such a person as the MC in a romance? I felt sorry for Leo having to deal with her, although I did not see his side of the story and was mostly not sympathetic towards him either. The groupie and the friend with benefits were thrown into the story only to let us know, errrm what? That these two people were rude and obnoxious, I think, if they were more mature they would have handled both situations better but I guess that was not really the point. These little situations were thrown into the book so that we know for sure that both of them are hot! hot! hot! This is redundant because they keep telling us that in her POV, his POV, switch-repeat. Finally, I did not like the cover, she looks unhappy and he looks unhappy about her being unhappy.....the whole thing made me unhappy.
