I looked, but have again forgotten which streaming service this movie is now on. However I plan to watch it in the very near future.

I finished this book a couple days ago - it was the typical nonfiction book - small print, lots of facts , but so hard to put down. These two journalist did a really good job. I understand that the movie, which has only been in theaters so far, is now on Peacock. Planning to watch it very soon.

Too many to list Bonnie so here are a couple places that have listed them~~
Rotten Tomatoes
https://editorial.rottentomatoes.com/...This one is probably the better of the two
IMDB Best to Worst adaptations

I agree Bonnie. Each episode is done so well. I hope this show goes on for a long time.
(Do you also watch Vienna Blood? Finally - finally - another season of that has started also)

I jsut cracked this book. About 40 pages in. Reading it along with 5 or 6 other books, so It won't be a quick read.

I have this book scheduled into Feb to read. Then I can start the series.

Finished the book on Thursday and watched the movie yesterday. I thought the movie followed the book fairly well. I enjoyed the people who played the characters.
I don't usually watch a movie until months after I finish a book, gives me time to forget a lot about the book, there fore I am not critical because the adaptation didn't follow the book's story well enough. But I thought this one was pretty good.

Hoping to soon start this book. I don't think the movie is streaming yet, but I think it has moved on from my theaters.

Anyone else interested in discussing Women in Black? Anyone read the book? Or see the movie?

Just ending this book probably later today. Then I can watch the movie. Did you girls watch the movie already?

I see that this movie is now streaming. I can't remember for sure on what channel however, maybe Netflix? I will come back and post when I know for sure.

I don't usually take ..."After reading that article by Clark I feel even stronger that quotation marks need to be used. Every single point he made pointed right to the reason that quotation marks are used. I want that conversation to be extrapolated. I want no doubt about who is saying what. If I want poetry I will read a book of poems. When I read a book that has conversation in it, I want to be sure it is conversation and who is saying it, because it is usually very important and it is usually the characters who carry the book along.
Good article Laura on why authors don't use quotation marks - but I still vehemently disagree with this Clark - whoever he is.

Anyone else watching the Mayfair Witches? I have not read the books. I am just taking my streaming channel of AMC out - I have not really watched it since I put it in a few months ago - now watch there will end up being a bunch of good stuff on there...sigh!
Anyone else watching this so that Bonnie has someone to chat with about this series?

We had another member just start watching the adaptation, hopefully she will make some comments here and we can re-initiate the conversation.

Thanks for joining us Ella - we are relatively new, but I am hoping we gather many more members and can have some lively discussions. I am open to opening new folders for the adaptions that you want to see and read. Just let me know.

I enjoyed it too Bonnie. This one is always good - no violence, no smut - just good clean showmanship. Such a change for today's TV. Well except for the cow - how sad!

I heard a snip it of the audio - I would love to get my hands on it. Was worried that Harry would talk too fast or resort to his accent to heavily for me understand him, but for me he speaks very clearly.
My library system, which is huge - has one audio - yes! Just one! And that library is not loaning it out yet. So I put the book on hold - the large print book cause there were less holds on that one. I am # 50 of 135 holds for the lg print with 10 copies, available. The regular print copy has 73 copies in my system and there are 376 holds.
HOLD the Presses...There are now 3 audio copies in my library system and they are all available to be put on hold! I am now #18 on 3 audio copies. Yay! That changed over night - cause I have been checking and trying to put the audio on hold every day.

Hi Bonnie Welcome to the group...
