I finally just read this book. Now I can watch the TV series.

The first of a currently 4 book series Three Body Problem started on Netflix March 21st. It is billed as an Adventure, Drama, Fantasy, Mystery, and Sci-Fi series with 8 episodes. This is it's first season.

Show-runners, producers and writers Benioff and Weiss stated in 2024 they intend to adapt Cixin Liu's 'Remembrance of Earth's Past' book trilogy into a total of at most 4 seasons.

Goofs
Upon viewing the series, it is evident the storyline refers to a "3-Body Problem" (or "Three-Body Problem").

Grammatically, the phrase is nonsensical without the necessary hyphen.

Watched episode 6 - Sophia is grown now - getting so close to the end!

Ok we are off and running...Bridgerton Season 3 is ready to go...

It will be on Netflix and Bridgerton Season 3 will be split into two batches of four episodes, with Part 1 premiering on May 16, and Part 2 arriving a month later on June 13.

On the day of shooting the scene where Angus calls home, Dominic Sessa flubbed a take because he didn't know how to dial, and had to be shown how. It hadn't occurred to anyone that he had never used a rotary phone before.

Excellent acting by Emma Stone to be so off putting.

I have started this movie, but then I got interrupted. I have not gone back to it yet, but intend to. Something about it just pulls you in, the longer you watch it - but it is weird. Maybe that is the pull? Trying to figure out what is gonna happen next?

Dissolution by C.J. Sansom

Notice the difference in titles - Shardlake is for the US - seems Canada and Britain are using the Dissolution title for the show. There will be 4 episodes starting on May 1, 2024. It is an Historical Drama, Mystery, and Thriller showing on Hulu (but may be on Disney in other locals.)

CJ Sansom, the bestselling author of Dissolution, Winter in Madrid and Dominion has died aged 71, having been diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a rare cancer that affects bone marrow. His publisher confirmed the news, noting that Sansom died on 27 April, just days before Shardlake, the TV adaptation of Dissolution is released.

His debut novel Dissolution, the first in his Shardlake series, was published in 2003, a classic closed-setting mystery set in a fictional monastery in Sussex on the eve of Henry VIII’s dissolution of the monasteries. It was an immediate bestseller and was nominated for two categories in the 2003 Crime Writers’ Association Dagger awards. Six further Shardlake novels were published, and Sansom was working on the eighth in the series, Ratcliff, when he died.

I just watched episode 5 yesterday. I enjoyed it too.

See in my mind - having read the book so long ago - I was thinking that this time with Sofia was actually with Nina and that they just cut a lot of it out. But as it goes on I am remembering more and more.

No date has yet been set, but it sounds like it may be in production with Apple Streaming This will be the second of Grann's books that will star Leo DiCaprio with Martin Scorsese producing and directing.

This is Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio's second collaboration on an adaptation of a David Grann non-fiction novel following Killers of the Flower Moon (2023). Both of which are also being produced by Apple Studios.
