yes! I've done both those things too lol. You loose control of the side characters at some point I think

Ok so in one of my books the main character is a twin and her birthday is December 12th, right? Well for like months I had her twin brothers birthday as like March something. For months I just didn't think about what twins actually meant I guess and so I had these twins that are literally almost 9 months apart.

I think the first author to really inspire me to write was C. S. Lewis, but recently the authors that have been inspiring me to keep writing are Chloe Gong and Marissa Meyer

Is for when you literally cannot think of a word. You can search the most bizarre thing and exactly what you're looking for will come up. It's also useful as a regular thesaurus.

I write mostly fantasy but dystopian, sci-fi and historical fiction are also scattered around my WIPs. You can pretty much assume that everything I write is going to have a strong found family trope. Also none of it is modern, I think the most modern real-world thing I've written or plan to write is probably my 1910s-WWI duology (which also happens to be one of the only books I'm writing that can actually be categorized as romance). I like to address things like mental illness, abuse (mental and physical), war and what comes after, healing and learning accept yourself. There's also usually at least one aro and/or ace (a-spec) character and some pretty heavy political undertones focusing on real world problems.

I'm very chaotic but I can usually make myself sound elegant in my writing if I want to, so you'll either get missing words curtesy of the adhd goblin with a side of mixed slang (different US states, Mexican because you can't live in Texas without picking up some, books because book slang is the best, and who knows what else I've picked up) with no punctuation OR Emily Dickinson poetry with paragraphs of otherwise unnecessary description. There is literally no in between so may the odds be ever in your favor y'all ;)
