I don't really know what that means, Narin, heh. If you're counting them for your personal challenge, they count for this one, so the number I use is up to you, not up to me.

The movies do alter it quite a lot, but I'm madly in love with the Jim Caviezel version anyway. ;)

Do you know that it has sequels? Publishers usually lump Little Women and Good Wives together as one book, but after that there was Little Men and Jo's Boys.

Definitely! I plan on buying the boxset just as soon as I've read some of the books I already own, haha!

Looking at the list of Genres people shelve it as, I'd say it counts as both.

I keep promising myself that I'll never read Jane Austen again (I really don't like her books!), but everyone keeps describing this book as a Gothic parody, and that sounds... interesting. So maybe I'll give it a shot.

I've enjoyed all of them, but my favourite was definitely The Hunger Games.

Oohh, does The Help fall under Chick-Lit? I was half-planning to read that in February if I get extra time, as a Black History Month thing.
