Yes, it's very easy to forget to add books to your shelves when you finish reading them. I know I do sometimes!

Yes! The genres will be slightly different, just to mix things up a little, but it's kind of our signature challenge, so it'll be back. :)

Still pretty far to go, with only one month left. We'd probably make it if we added together the numbers from the people with shelves and the tallies from those without, but that would take a very long time to figure out.

The official total for October is... 576!

Our year-to-date total is... 6,345!

Considering that we only have 2 more monthly tallies to add to that year-to-date total, we're going to need all hands on deck if we want to cross the finish line! I'm sure that if every active member on this board participated, we could still reach 10,000 with no problem at all. But even if we don't, we have already far exceeded our original goal of 5,000 books, and that's something to be proud of. :)

What do you mean, Iasa?

Definitely a month without reading, for me. Five seconds in, I'd have an overwhelming desire to do nothing but READ, and I'd probably pace around for the entire month trying to think of something else to do. Internet... staying away would almost feel like a holiday. :P

Which do you think would be the most difficult for you - a month without reading or a month without internet?
