118012 I need to finish 3 as well, but I've started all 3 and I'm almost there - I've got about 150 pages to go!

118012 That's awful, Becca! Are you okay with it once you've taken the dust jacket off?

118012 Well, the year is almost over! Only one month left to tally up, but I'm afraid it looks like we won't quite reach 10,000. But hey, considering the original goal was 5,000, we've done extremely well!

The official tally for November is - 471
Which makes our Jan-Nov tally - 6816

Not too shabby! Thanks to everyone who participated in this challenge! I promised you a prize at the end if we reached the goal, but what the heck, you all deserve something special for your participation anyway. Thanks to Holly's mad crazy designing skills, that's just what you're going to get.

For everyone who participated in this challenge, please feel free to save and/or print off this bookmark for your personal use and for posterity's sake -

Thanks, everyone! This year has been a blast!

118012 Nice, Amber!

118012 Nice going, Kassandra!

I got lots of reading done yesterday, since that's basically all I could stand to do.

95 pages of As You Wish: Inconceivable Tales from the Making of The Princess Bride
160 pages of The Wide Window
24 pages of Perelandra

Which brings my total to... 559 pages.

118012 Well, it's upon us - the very last one of our 50 Questions! (And to think I started to panic at around the 20th that I was running out of things to ask, haha!)

My last question to you of 2014 is this - How would you sum up your reading year?

Was it a good year for you? Did you make any new and awesome literary discoveries? Did you add new books to your Fave Books Ever list? Was it a mediocre year for you? Did nothing you read quite satisfy? Was it an awful year for you? Did you have trouble finding anything at all decent to read?

118012 I need to add As You Wish: Inconceivable Tales from the Making of The Princess Bride to my list. So much fun to read!

118012 LOL I hope that's not the only thing she gave you for Christmas, Holly! Although they do work wonders. :)

Thanks, Kiwi!

Yes, "feed a cold, starve a fever." I don't seem to have a fever (yet?), and thankfully I do have an appetite. Though maybe not for my Christmas goodies. :(

I hope you manage to avoid joining us, Holly!

118012 Thanks, Renee! Sipping water as I type, and I just had a juicy apple, which oddly enough seems to have helped my throat a bit.

I hope it doesn't take a month to work itself out, though! Ouch, that must have been rough, Renee!

118012 Wow, so much contentment with the way books end! I'm impressed. ;)

I would change the ending of Jamaica Inn. I would have given that book 5 stars if it hadn't been for the ending leaving me cold. I wasn't expecting a perfectly "happy ending" but still... (view spoiler) so I was left feeling kind of depressed and annoyed. Why couldn't she have just (view spoiler)

That sucks. I hate being sick over Christmas! :(
