Mission: Claim at least one "Bingo!" before March 20 (the first day of spring)!
RULES & GUIDELINES
Not too many of these as it is supposed to be fun after all :)
* As with traditional Bingo, you can go for a horizontal, vertical, diagonal, "X" or "around the world" (perimeter). Or aim big and go for a black out (all squares)!
* A book can only be used once on the sheet.
* Interpret the categories as broadly as you like.
* Feel free to copy and paste the template below to record your books:

Mini-Challenges will typically run for one month. New minis will appear each month on a variety of topics.
RULES: Just One....
You can use your Mini-Challenges to help you complete your Year-Long and Maxi-Challenges, but you can't crossover Minis.
So if you find a book during January that's a debut novel about Human Rights Issues in Asia, you'll have to choose one Mini for which you want it to count.

The Plan...
Level 1: Grab A Spoon: 3-4 books/volumes of the same series
Level 2: Pour The Milk: 5-10 books/volumes of the same series
Level 3: Crunch! Crunch! Crunch!: more than 10 books/volumes in a single series read this year
-You can do this for more than one series, but you need to post them separately.
-You don't have to read the entire series. For example, You may choose to read the first 3-4 books of one series, then start a new challenge with a different series. Depending on your reading habits.
-Also, you don't have to start with the first book in the series, as long as you have at least 3 books still to read. For example, I've already read 11 books of O'Brian's Aubrey-Maturin series, but there are more than 20 in the series, so I could start with Book 12 and go from there.

Level 1: Enter Stage Left - Read 3 plays
Level 2: What's My Next Line? - Read 6 plays
Level 3: The Smell of the Greasepaint - Read 9 plays
Level 4: The Roar of the Crowd - Read 12 plays!!

This will run all year.
The idea is to try to read and record ONE book originally published in each decade listed. Your end result should be a list of the 22 decades posted here, with one book you've read beside each decade. (Feel free to cut and paste the template below to get started.)
Some members will have posted a mockup of this challenge in their personal goal threads, for ease of organization. This is the official thread for posting lists and sharing ideas about how to complete this challenge.
Also, GR does a "Best Books of ____" by decade, which is really helpful. You can access through LISTOPIA or Google "Best Books of (decade/year)" to get to them.
Personally, I really love the way this challenge forces me to read beyond my comfort zone.

YEAR TO DATE:

Mission: Read 50 books this year.
Plan: Keep track of your books any way you wish (in the Personal Goal folder, for example), then update here EACH MONTH with your total for the month and the year so far.
p.s. I have no plans to keep an overall group tally. But feel free to congratulate and encourage each other as you see members reporting their progress.

This challenge will run all year and have a leveled format, but mostly this is a place to discuss the new releases of this year.
Level One: Curious: read 1 new release
Level Two: Curiouser: read 2 new releases
Level Three: Most Curious: read 4 new releases
Level Four: You killed the cat: read 6 new releases

This one is a twist on the Alphabet Soup challenge; however, for this one you are looking for books titles that are MISSING a particular letter.
Mission: 26 books, each missing one letter of the alphabet
