"The wand almost protects Dalia, as Holly is considered to be a protective wood. Its unicorn hair core is extremely hard to turn t the dark arts, which is strange for someone from a family of Slytherins and blood purists"The h of "Holly" should not be capitalized.
What is "t" supposed to be?
The d and a of "dark arts" should be capitalized, I think (but am not positive). Can I get a second opinion there?
I'm just concerned about messing up the timeframe, because according to the Notice Board, we should be getting off the train right about now.
Patrick had forgotten about Loki's love of fashion until he asked about Eve's magazine. "Good grief," he muttered, literally face palming—for emphasis, naturally. A little dramatic effect never did any harm.
Patrick said nothing, instead giving Loki a desperate look, only poorly concealed from the blushing female beside him. Silently, he was begging Loki to not abandon him.
All good, I apologize as well, I wasn't in the best of moods. :/ Just let me know when you want me to look at her!
The train lurched forward, causing Patrick to stumble a step and literally fall into the seat next to Eve, his upper half almost tumbling into Eve's lap as he fought the inertia of the train as it quickly picked up speed. "Bloody—" He quickly pushed himself away from the girl, his cheeks burning in his utter embarrassment. "I am so sorry! I didn't—" The boy broke off, too mortified to speak, clapping a hand on his forehead with a complete loss of words.
Emma and Woolfie: What if Patrick has a crush on Eve (she's same year as them but a Ravenclaw), that is just obvious enough to cause problems on his and Maeve's behalf?
[Enter Patrick Straut.]"Hey Eve," a boy said, slipping into the carriage only a few minutes after the girl. His name was Jackson Patrick Straut, but almost everyone knew him as Patrick. He was the same age as Eve, fifteen, returning for his fifth at Hogwarts. He knew the brown-haired girl from Quidditch—he played on the Hufflepuff team, and she, for Ravenclaw. "You don't mind if I join you, yeah?"
I don't remember where you have Eve, if anywhere, but if you haven't posted on the train with her yet, or if she is by herself, Loki and Patrick should join her (as if they've been with her the entire time because of where we are in the story now), or at least be in a carriage with each other.
