A total of nine books completed in April, 4 since my mid-month update. Roughly 2400 pages - 265 pages per book.
Completed these 4 since mid April
1. Tank Girl: The Gifting by Alan C. Martin (Tank Girl #6) Features such stories like The Dogsh*t in Barney's Handbag, Kill Jumbo, The Innocent Die First, etc. Just rollicking fun and games. 3.0 stars
2. The Ministry for the Future by Kim Stanley Robinson. Thoughtful 'sci-fi' deals with the future present and battle to save Earth from climate disasters. 5.0 stars
3. An Unsuitable Job For A Woman by P.D. James The first book in the PI Cordelia Gray series by James. Unfortunately only 2 books completed. 3.5 stars
4. Maddie Hatter and the Gilded Gauge by Jayne Barnard. Book 2 in the Maddie Hatter steampunk adventure. Set in New York this time. Lots of action. 3.0 stars

Currently Reading
1. The Confidential Agent: An Entertainment by Graham Greene. A slow go so far. I need to focus more.
2. Meet The Baron: by Anthony Morton The first book in the Baron adventure series. Morton also wrote under many other names, JJ Marric, John Creasey, etc. I'm focusing on some of his series in May.
3. The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson 1st book in the Stormlight Archives. Part of my Tome challenge
4. Tales from Earthsea by Ursula K. Le Guin The 5th book in the Earthsea cycle, a collection of short stories.
5. To Walk in the Way of Lions by H. Leighton Dickson Fantasy, 2nd book in the Tails of the Upper Kingdom. My May focus book.
6. How to Stand Up to a Dictator: The Fight for Our Future by Maria Ressa Non-fiction. Enjoying so far.

Thanks, Alondra. I've not read Red Mars, I can only comment on Ministry. It did require perseverance.. But worth it in the end...

1176148 Hey Alondra. If I look at my reading challenges, I seem to be ahead by a few books. I do also seem to be fleshing out my reading with graphic novels and young adult books. I find time to read a bit in the morning and as I go to sleep at night. But not as steady of a reader. My focus is my daily schedule of caring for my dogs, meds at such and such a time, trips to the vet and while my wife works, planning meals, that sort of thing. But I'm still enjoying reading and when I do focus on a specific book, I'm enjoying. So there is that at least.. Now to work on my yard. It's sadly neglected...
