1176148 Mid September Update
I'd better get this done today. Tomorrow a.m., heading down island with my little dog Clyde to get cataract surgery performed on him. Hoping it works. My wife won't be able to come as she's somewhat immobile after she slipped and twisted her knee. Lots of food and clean clothes set aside for her...

Anyway, let's see. Six books / graphics completed since September 1.
Finished
1. Linghun by Ai Jiang Interesting horror novella plus two other short stories. Nice intro to this Canadian author. (4.5 stars) (My favorite of the month so far)
2. Steeple by John Allison A fun horror graphic set in Devon; a series of stories. (3.0 stars)
3. When I Arrived at the Castle by Emily Carroll creepy graphic novel in the gothic style. 4.0 stars
4. Odd Jobs: Six Files from the Department of Inhuman Resources edited by T.J. Price. A collection of horror short stories by six different authors. (Yes, I should be saving these until October, LOL. I have a few more) 4.0 stars
5. Warriors: The Prophecies Begin by Erin Hunter graphic novel series, the 1st two books about cat clans in the wild. Entertaining 3.5 stars
6. The Xibalba Murders by Lyn Hamilton (Lara McClintoch Archeological mysteries). Do you need Mexico on your Around the World book tour? 3.5 stars

I don't know if I'll manage any plays this time. I find them difficult at the best of times.

I think we read one chapter of Great Expectations in junior high and I wasn't fond then.. I've seen the movie since and it was interesting.
