When she gets close to someone she’ll often become overprotective of them. When she meets new people she will often be cold with them, but she slowly begins to be nicer to people over time. She often will get jealous if any of the few people who are close to her are doing something with people other than her. She doesn’t seem to care about what others think of her at all.

(view spoiler)[Ivy lived a seemingly ordinary life until around the age of 9 when her parents were murdered and she then had to move in with her aunt. Her aunt was incredibly caring and only wanted the best for her, yet she wasn’t able to show that to her and it appeared that she didn’t care about Ivy. Unlike her parents, her aunt was wealthy and lived a lavish lifestyle. Ivy wasn’t spoiled, however, and was only given necessities to make sure she didn’t become a greedy person. This was why Ivy grew to resent her as it seemed like she didn’t want her in the house at all, but that was entirely not the case.
She never had many friends that stayed around her for longer than 6 months as a child. She discovered her powers when she had gotten into a fight for kissing somebody’s girlfriend. She lost the fight, but after the fight, the person showed symptoms of being poisoned by a fast and deadly one. She was confused because this wasn't the first time somebody had suffered a fate similar to this before. She tried to think of all of the things they had in common and eventually realized that it was because she had made contact with them for a longer time than she usually touches people. She was incredibly curious about which poison caused this and eventually found that it was caused by lead arsenate. She fell greatly in love with toxicology after this point and it was her dream to open up a poison shop when she got old enough.
Ivy worked on bettering her knowledge of how to control her powers and continued to study toxicology along with this. She was incredibly proficient at her powers, especially for a commoner. She got to the point where she could control the amount of poison that would enter their bloodstream, but her aunt kept discouraging her from trying to better her powers. When she got to be of age to be able to open up the poison shop her aunt pitched in a little, but Ivy was appreciative, although she still hadn’t forgiven her aunt. (hide spoiler)]appearance desc ❧

No matter how long she touches people at least some cyanide will go into them, but it isn’t too deadly if not in large amounts. Her touch causes about 0.5 mg of cyanide to enter their bloodstream per second. (hide spoiler)]
