"Alright, that's fine, I don't really like spicy things," she'd say, thankful that Esperanza didn't want anything spicy. "Oh, perfect! I get to make everything be more spread out for when I make the stuff," she'd be glad that she didn't have to cook it all at the same time since that would require her making multiple fires, although it was a hassle she would've been fine doing it since it was for a friend. She'd begin to think of the order she needed to make everything and eventually had everything planned out. She knew it would take longer with only one fire, although she'd be much less stressed only having to look at one thing at a time.

Ivy was bored on their walk back so she tried to strike up a conversation, "What kind of seasonings would you like in your soup?" She was aware she'd have to use a large amount to make any real difference since it was a soup. "Oh wait, is there a time you have to get back to your kingdom?" she'd be asking just to get a general idea of how long Esperanza could stay. She was planning out the stuff that she needed to cook and in what order.

She has an odd way of flirting with her crewmates and does it in ways such as licking the blood off of their cheek. She hates using flintlock pistols as a way to kill people because she finds it too quick and prefers to use her sword for everything. She doesn't care about what people outside of her crew think of her, since they'll never be on the level of talent as them. She is the least merciful member of her crew, often torturing people for short amounts of time when they raid ships and would always leave that person to spread around how cruel they are since she viewed that as people saying they were the best pirates. She's only empathetic of those on her ship, although she believes that she is the best of them. She thought everything that was happening was completely normal and would always boast that she's stronger than everyone in school from carrying heavy loads. When Bedelia was born her main concern was preventing her from having to do work, so she began to do double the usual amount of work, which resulted in her getting stronger. Hestia and Bedelia would often sneak off to play in the ocean. Around the age of 14, she would begin to plan their escape, a year later she would tell Bedelia about her plan. When she was 15 she had already gotten surprisingly good at sword combat, as a method to protect Bedelia. Merfolk were surprisingly easy to poach and she began to boast that she was the best at it and they eventually got bigger ships and more crewmates. Ivy would be doing the snake equivalent of running towards a vendor who commonly sells honey, oblivious to everybody around her. She bumped into a few people on her way, although she didn't bother to acknowledge it. Once she got to the place with honey she'd realize she didn't have enough, although it wasn't far off. When she approached the vendor they refused to serve her which upset her since she had let the vendor buy poisons even when they were a bit off. She'd return to Esperanza, still very upset, and would say, "Let's go back now." She'd walk back, trying not to show that she was too upset and she managed to by thinking how fun it'd be to cook a meal for Esperanza.
