ME GUITAR WABT PLEASE I LOVE MCR AND THAT'S THE ONLY REASON I AM

Onyx wasn't really paying attention to Alex's turn, she was distracted by a bird she thought was interesting. It took them a moment to realize it was their turn, but they immediately hit their ball through the second goal, although on their next hit it'd be a good bit left of the third goal.
"So, Alex, do you have a crush on anybody?" They'd ask teasingly, knowing the answer was most definitely that he hadn't found anybody. They found slightly pitied them, although they honestly didn't care, they cared more about Grey. Wait, no, no, no, They wouldn't let their mind wander there right now, they have to beat Alex's ass at croquet, then they could think about that asshole, but not for too long, or else people might notice them drifting off. They were brought back to reality by Alex's response, and slightly jumping, considering they forgot everything else existed

"I could punch you in the nose if I wanted," They obviously wouldn't, they'd never purposefully hurt Alex. They jumped up a bit, a habit they've had since they were a kid and Alex would always compare that he was taller.
"I mean, we have enough money to repair a window or two," They always knew this, even if their parents acted like it was a huge problem whenever they accidentally broke anything. They always shared the blame though, which lessened the punishment on both of them.
While waiting for Alex to take his turn they'd pick out the yellow ball and mallet. "Hah, nowhere close to the next one" She felt confident she'd win, although there was no telling, considering how long it has been since she played. She definitely played more recently than Alex had though. "My turn," They'd say in a sing-song tone. They'd hit the ball through the starting tunnel, then upon their second hit it'd land about 15 feet from the second tunnel.

"Yeah, it kind of is," They wouldn't really be disappointed, honestly they much preferred to do croquet. Alex's remark would cause exactly what he was trying to cause, "You really think you could fucking beat me? I haven't even seen you play croquet in years." They felt incredibly confident of the fact that they'd beat him easily.
"Where else would be play croquet?" They'd ask teasingly, considering they likely would've said the exact same thing as him. They'd also be searching for the croquet set, forcing themselves to view it as a competition. They'd be incredibly disappointed that they lost, although they forced themself not to show it
Once they got outside they'd say, while already setting it up, "I'll set it all up, choose your color." They'd take a moment to set it up, mainly trying to get it even enough for their liking. "You go first, considering how confident you were that you'd beat me."

"Hah, I have authority over you and can make you do whatever I want," She'd say teasingly, but she knew she wouldn't make anybody do unnecessary work that she could easily do. She'd dramatically throw herself onto him, "Anything you want to do." She'd pause, thinking for a moment, "Or croquet." She never really got to play croquet, although it was one of her favorite things to do, even if she didn't really play it much. She'd pat down her pockets, looking for something fun that could be in the pockets and they'd find a bit of paper they had scribbled a grocery list on. "Ooo or we could go to the market, I just found my grocery list," Honestly they had fun just being around Alex, even if it was something as mundane as grocery shopping. Just being around people made things more fun, excluding when they were doing serious work.

Onyx had been pacing the halls for quite a while before they'd finally decide to do something that would give them an excuse to sneak out. They weren't in the mood to do anything serious and just wanted to have a bit of fun. She'd normally read to cool off from boredom, but she really didn't want to read right now.
Upon noticing Alex turning into the hall they'd quickly swing their arms around him. "I'm boredddddd, let's go do something fun," She'd say in a kind of whiny voice. She didn't really care what they did, as long as it was entertaining. They weren't really sure if saying this would raise the chance of Alex saying yes, but it'd be worth a shot, "I already finished all my work too, so you don't need to worry about anything going to hell."
