Buzbuz took the glass and took a sip, it was sweet, but a bit bitter too, it had a very vibrant blueberry taste. She liked it, it felt like drinking a incredibly high quality juice with just a good bit of bitterness to it.
She climbed out after Alex, she was shocked by how gentle the slope was, but it just made it all easier. She sat down next to them, but instead of lying down she sat in a ball with her head on her knees. She took her head off of her knees to look up at the stars, they were really pretty tonight. "What's your favorite constellation?" she asked, curious to learn something that seemed so trivial, but she felt as though it was a good thing to learn abouth a person, following their birthday and age.
She could feel her face flush at that comment, "Thank you, Alex." She took a sip of her wine, trying not to do anything that might acknowledge it.
Buzbuz was thinking about really small trivial things that she could tell Alex, just as a way of getting to know each other better, then it hit her. "Alex, wanna know a fun fact about me?"

"You did really good!" she hadn't really taken a moment to look around, but once she did she realized that it was even prettier than she thought. It was really really pretty. While watching Alex pour themself a glass of wine she every so slightly wanted to ask for a glass, considering she never got the blueberry one, even if it wasn't blueberry it could still be nice. Her eyes immediately lit up, "Yes! I love being on roofs!" It wasn't even the daring part that convinced her, she just really did like going onto roofs, it was just fun to be so high up. She looked around, trying to find a window that would be preferable, but then she realized Alex was standing right next to a window. She kept that to herself though and if asked she could just say that she was looking at the decorations.

"Ah, that's fine, Annie," she said while still patting Annie's head. The wait felt like forever, she just wanted to get out soon, not in too much of a rush, if there was any foul play they'll likely wait for a while. "Yeah, let's go find something else to do, just after I refill my drink," she wasn't sure which way the food station was, so it might take her a moment. She was already planning things in her mind, she knew a lot of stuff within the feline kingdom capital that they could go to, and with the money that she had on her they could maybe get a quick meal, maybe something from a bakery. Something easy.
She began to wander around, trying to find the drink station, checking every now and then to make sure Annie is still with her.
Hestia thought she had finally gotten her seemingly anxious act, and she had. It wasn't perfect, but it would likely fool most, the only downfall is that they might recognize it as her, considering her face is available in any books about her ship league. She stepped up onto the stage, taking her time with each step, trying to make it seem like her legs were shaky and once she finally got up she shakily said into the microphone, "There . . . uh there will be m-more . . killings taking place tonight, they will be done by, th-the dread pirate Hestia, the m-most renowned and powerful . . . pirate. If you act normally . . your chances of surviving will uh will raise if you act scared you will be i-immediately terminated." she acted as though she was still incredibly shaky from that while walking off of the stage, but it was slightly obvious it was faked, how couldn't it be? She had just done something so amazing, so . . . brave, she deserved to be rewarded.

"Looking for anything in particular?" she'd ask, unsure why she did though, she didn't care. She was faking a nice look, despite her still being annoyed at everything, even if Anahera seemed interesting. She was just tired, but she'd be fine helping if any was needed, just because she hadn't met another healer and she felt like it was just the right thing to do, she normally didn't do what would be considered the right thing, but she felt like she should in this scenario.

They nodded along, they felt a bit reassured, although they still weren't sure, they knew they couldn't choose wrong, but what if there's one that Carnation would like better than the others? "I understand you like them all, but could you pick anyway?" they really hoped that he would get the hint and just pick one out, even if he doesn't have a preference.
"Yeah, you're right," they realized it would be a lot easier, they would have one less dish to clean too. Their face slightly flushed at his comment, as a way of trying to hide the fact that they were blushing they jokingly said, "I'm not that cute, I'm pretty cute, but not to the point of preventing anybody but you from eating me."
They began to walk out, but once they were in the doorframe they said, "Alright, I'll get something for us now!" Only once they got out did they realize how tired they were, but they had to get the food first. They checked the pantry, there were chips, but they were tortilla chips. They went to get a bowl, but they knocked over a cup while trying to get a bowl down. A stray bit of glass hit their cheek, causing it to bleed. After pulling out the glass they pushed their hand onto their cheek, trying to mask their pain, even though they were quite hurt.

Everytime Alex apologized for the mess she quickly said something showing that it was okay, and that she often had messes just around her appartment. She still thought that it was really pretty in the mansion, and she honestly thought the books just added to it.
Buzbuz giggled for a quick moment. "Are you calling me hot?" she asked it as if it were an actual question, but she was pretty sure that they were calling her hot, but if they weren't that was okay with her. She was just glad to be able to have a good time with Alex. "Yes! It's very nice here!" she said it enthusiastically, still very excited to just be here with Alex, even if it was platonic. She walked over to the window were Alex was, not for any particular reason, just to be closer to Alex.

They paused for a moment, "What if I pick out one when you would actually prefer a different one though? I think you should pick." They usually worried about small little choices like this, just because they always thought they would choose incorrectly, even if you can't be incorrect at all. They hoped Carnation would understand this and he'd pick one out, but they weren't sure if he would.
"Well, I'm not sure what I'm going to have, likely something simple, but what would you like, if anything, if not I'll just look through the stuff we have and make something to share," they weren't sure what was easily accesible, but they'd figure something out once they got out. Maybe chips or something similar to that would be something good to share, especially because it'd be quite easy to just pour them into a bowl. "If we have chips, would be okay having them?" they'd ask, not wanting to pick out something he wouldn't like.

"Right," she nodded along, feeling much better from being directly told that it wasn't her fault and that it was understandable, so she quickly just pushed it off.
"Hm, alright," she was partially hoping for them to use fun replacement words, but it was understandable that they didn't, that would be a good bit of work, especially for newer people. Upon Alex's offer, they thought for a second, even though she already had an answer when offered, she definitely wanted to. "Yeah, that sounds fun," she was trying her best to hold in her excitement, but she was really really excited, she really liked stargazing! She just liked being outside, sure, they wouldn't be outside, but it'd still be fun, especially since she's doing it with a new friend!

May shook her hand wildly after he finished bandaging it, it didn't feel much better, but at least she wouldn't make a mess by letting it bleed out.
She smiled a bit, finding Rodney being excited to talk about this interesting, although one bit confused her, "How faster than father if father full roadrunner?" After saying that she realized that it was likely meant to be like that, just to show that he's quite fast.
She went back to cutting, being much more careful this time, not cutting towards her hand.

She tilted her head a bit, like a confused dog. "No?" she said, sounding very confused. "Wait, was I meant to know?" she suddenly sounded kind of panicky. "Dad just didn't inform me in a good way!" her tone sounded really defensive, almost like she was being accused of doing something wrong, even though it was something simple that was caused just because her father didn't tell her bluntly enough.
She felt curious after Alex said this and asked, "What kind of words do they use as replacements?" She wasn't sure why she was so curious about this, but she doubted it was something Alex wouldn't want to share.
She remembered that Alex was meant to be flirting with her and she laughed a bit, finding it funny that the conversation took this kind of turn, but either way, Alex was super fun to talk to.

Her curiousty was peaked by that, "In what way are we similar?" She was quite curious, but she knew it would likely be answered when Alex told about their life, if they did.
All of these words sounded oddly familar to her, but she couldn't quite figure out why, but then it clicked. She excitedly said, "Wait, you're in a gang? That's so cool!" She doubted that her chances of getting in a gang would be any higher from knowing Alex, but it still was cool in her little world to know somebody that was in a gang. Buzbuz had already thought Alex was cool, but that just made them seem even cooler.
Upon Alex saying this she quickly said, "No, no! It's okay, I'm not squeamish! Talking about violence is okay!" Buzbuz didn't want Alex to feel like they had to prevent themself from talking about things to avoid making her uncomfortable, unless it was something that also made them uncomfortable.

She thought for a moment then responded, "No, no thank you." She didn't like the fact that her skin being clear reminded her of her childhood, she much preferred to see her suffering as well as how many people she's possibly saved from death, although that last part didn't make her feel any better about herself, she still just felt like a pawn, sure she made plenty of money healing people, but did anybody really care whether or not she was negatively affected by this? She volunteered herself to only be seen as that though, she had to admit, and honestly, she didn't care. She didn't care about most people when she was healing, she just cared about not needing to focus on anything other than healing that person.
"Where are you going?" She asked, still using that soft tone as a way to not scare off Anahera. She didn't really care, she was just curious seeing as she had originally started to walk away after staring at her.

She nodded along, she decided in her head that she would only have a glass or two, although if it was very good she'll allow herself to have maybe three glasses. Her mind began to wander to how they even make blueberry wine, she wasn't sure how people make regular wine, so it was just her making up stuff in her head. She giggled a bit, finding this odd fantasy of people making blueberry wine funny.
She giggled a bit, finding it funny to be called a businesswoman for just giving people food.
"Well, I lived with my mother most of my life, and I only saw my father once before my mom died, then I had to move in with him because I wasn't old enough to live alone," she paused, taking a moment to think about the rest of her words, she also felt like she was oversharing, even though Alex asked. "And the stuff about the celebrity, he married Cerise for . . . y'know marriage reasons," she felt stupid for that last bit, considering that was obvious. She yawned, not from being tired, but just because she felt the need to yawn. She took a breath in, preparing to come to a finish, "I've got a stepsister, Fraise, and she's cool. Fraise is one of my closest friends, she's really cool." She thought for a second, trying to figure out if she missed anything, she wasn't sure, although she decided she probably was.
She smiled, happy just to be talking to Alex. "Could you tell me a bit about your life?" she asked, excited to maybe be able to learn more about Alex, especially considering she just talked about herself for a while.

"Oh, alright," she was confused as to how she should feel, considering she didn't really have the initial shock of being flirted with, although it still felt nice. She smiled a bit to show that she kinda liked it.
"Oh, sure," she didn't really drink much, but she could appreciate a good drink. "I don't drink too often though," she thought that would maybe be useful to disclose that, although she kind of doubted that it would be useful after saying that. She did quite like sweets though, so it'd likely be okay, but she didn't really want it to not have any of that taste that makes her head shake.
"Yeah! I've bribed a good few people to do stuff for me by baking them something!" she giggled a bit at the last part, considering she only really bribed them to do silly little things, most of the time it was just a way to share pastries with somebody and she would gladly admit that.
