Ajax snickered when Terran's hand hit the back of his head, letting his head bump into the counter a little before he watched the man slither up to the bartender and start a conversation.
"Whatever you say Grumpy!" he called from his spot, with a wink and took the time to admire his companion.
Ajax's eyes traveled to and from Terran's many tattoos and piercings, and could only find himself having no intention of leaving this intriguing man alone any time soon. Only if he was truly okay with it of course.
Ajax seamlessly covered up his curious and interested gaze with the skill of one of the Royal Avian family's most valued spies, turning his head slightly up to grin devilishly at Terran, immediately picking the glass up from the wooden counter-top.
"Aww Grumpy, are you telling me I'm one-of-a-kind?" He asked, drinking half of the glass in one gesture and wincing at the burning in his throat.
Back in the Bird Kingdom, the regulars of the bar liked to play a game where the bartenders would put in random ingredients in the customers' drinks and have them drink the whole thing in one gulp. And this was an underground bar; they didn't exactly care about the laws very much. One unfortunate time, Ajax fell subject to a particularly potent strain of ground ghost pepper seeds in his drink.
Could he even bring himself to look at spicy food for a week or two after? No, but it did give him a good resistance to particularly burning or sharp flavors in his drinks.
Ajax hadn't expected the venom in his drink but laughed slightly, chugging down the rest and biting the worm in half while looking at Terran. "Trying to kill me already Darling? What was that?"
