Ever since he had run away from home with his older cousin Leila, Ajax's resentment towards his ever "perfect" parents had only grown in size and strength. Because of it, he never really liked to talk about the situation or even think about it for his mood would quickly sour and he never liked to let himself feel anything even remotely extreme when he was around others.
So he quickly pushed the train of thought away before it could pollute his good yet slightly sleepy mood, turning back to Terran with a surprised but genuine grin on his face. From all of his teasing, he hadn't really thought Terran would offer to spend even more time around, but he couldn't say that he wasn't grateful, and who was he to say no? "I think I'll take you up on that!" He replied, resting his elbows on the table-top.

"Biological parents in general usually suck don't they?" Ajax asked but it was a rhetorical question, not leaving any room for protest as he said it like he believed it to be; an unshakable truth.
"Well for what it's worth, I think they look sick." He commented, gazing through the window at the pitch black of midnight.
"Alright, I think I should be heading out now." He spoke, stretching his wings and arms simultaneously.
"My living situation is quite far from here, but perhaps I'll fly in again in a day or two?" He offered, flashing him a small smirk when he pushed the bar stool back.

AJAX DEFINITELY JUST PLAYS A ONE-SIDED GAME OF HIDE AND SEEK WITH TERRAN WHERE HE JUST SNEAKS INTO THE CONSERVATORY AND HIDES UNTIL TERRAN LOSES HIS PATIENCE AND DRAGS HIM OUT BECAUSE HE TRIES REALLY HARD TO IGNORE HIS DUMBASS BOYFRIEND BUT HE ALSO DOESN’T HAVE ENOUGH PATIENCE FOR THAT SO HE JUST SAYS SCREW IT EVERYTIME

BUT THEN ON NEW YEARS EVE HE JUST GETS THIS LIKE PICNIC SET UP WITH SPARKLING CIDER AND SETS IT UP IN ONE OF HIS USUAL HIDING PLACES SO WHEN TERRAN GOES TO DRAG HIM OUT AGAIN, IT’S A SURPRISE NEW YEARS EVE DATE
