Ajax turned to look at Terran and scoffed slightly at the expression on his face. He'd be the first person to admit that he was arrogant, but it wasn't something he got too ashamed about. It was something he even tended to lean into, especially when he was around people he didn't know, or who didn't know what he did; it made it easier for them to underestimate him, and in turn made his job easier.
It was something he tended to do even without thinking about it, a subconscious habit at the moment.
He wasn't exactly sure why the look on Terran's face bothered him, but his lips curled up in a smirk anyways.
"What, I'm not allowed to look at myself in a glass Snake Boy? I'm a bird. We tend to look at shiny things you know." He turned his attention back to the drink menu on the wall, reading the descriptions leisurely.
"Huh, makes sense. Back in the Bird Kingdom, there's a bunch of drinks with bug and small animal flavorings that you probably wouldn't take to very well, maybe I could show you some time" He spoke, not noticing how his ever flirtatious manner peeled slightly as he thought about the subject.
He didn't really think that it would make him too homesick, but since he spent much of his time at bars, it could only be expected. He shook himself out of it mentally and asked for another drink, grin back on his face like it was never gone.
