I'm currently enjoying Omens and wondering why I don't go to the beach more often. I should really get out more ):

Hi everyone (: got any big plans for the weekend?
I forgot to bring my book to work today ))): boring lunch break.

I agree! Horror and UF kind of go hand in hand <3

I'll read it! I'm still at about 20% in The Gunslinger ): Also purchased Doctor Sleep (2nd Shining), Needful Things, and I have Mr. Mercedes.

Oh I wanna read Wheel of Time, too! Been meaning to for a while. Fever series has been optioned for a movie for a while, wish they'd let the option go. I don't think it could be a movie, but it'd make a kick ass series on HBO or something. V'lane. Barrons. Ugh.

Omens. It's UF. Pretty good start! Lately I've been dying to reread American Gods though.

Carolin ---Neil Gaiman! Have you read American Gods?

Doing alright. Just starting a new book. How are you, Ian?

Yeah definitely wasn't as bad as Gameboard of the Gods. I gave it 3.5. I agree that the ending was good. I actually liked the world building and felt like it was a pretty solid first book. I'll be reading the next one. Definitely not a character-driven novel, though. I wasn't really excited about any of them. I also liked Malachi.

67% done. Magic has been bound. I seem to have hit a dull spot.

30% in. Really enjoying it, much more than I'd anticipated. Been to Devil's Isle. Meeting Nix now. I like the world and the characters thus far.

I'm at 10%. So far, I'm okay with what they've done with explaining the world. I'm not feeling info-dumped.

I'm starting this tonight. Alysa, you aren't the first one to warn of the info-dump. Finding the right balance for world-building in UF seems to be quite difficult. Hope it is a decent read despite this.

Lol. It's this thing that one of the worst characters in The Stand used to say all the time.

Oh that's awesome! I love when he does that too. Any happy crappies? I ran across a couple in Under the Dome.

I'm going to be reading it (:
