Moving has been tough on him. I think he’s just now starting to get into the groove of his new life, and realizes we’re here to stay. I just have to get him back on a schedule and eating again. And get him some friends.

Mercy Thompson for 7$ is pretty sweet! We need to make a trip to the used bookstore. My dad and I built some sweet built in bookshelves for my babies, so now I need more.

The afternoon is too hot to live, Kim, and we definitely get cabin fever. To be fair, it feels like it does when it’s only about 90 degrees in SoCal, because it’s soooo dry. Daily nosebleeds. I can’t wait until fall when I can really explore my new area—go hiking and be outdoorsy. I’m not about to do that now.

I’m still adjusting to SAHM (for now, at least) life and trying to figure out what to do in the afternoon when it’s 110 degrees.

Haven’t done anything to my profile for a while, and just realized you can now add multiple reading sessions for one book. So that’s pretty cool.

I’ll wait until I can directly post pics and gifs to really be excited about this app.

Did anyone read the Carve the Mark books by Veronica Roth? I reallly liked Divergent until that shit show of a third book, but I don’t have enough reading time to waste my time if it sucks.

Omg, I hate Iron Fist too. And I haven’t even watched it. I watched Defenders despite skipping that one and hated it because of Iron Fist. But Luke Cage and JJ are both really good. Agree that the first half of second season was boring.

I’m planning on watching it soon, Ian. I have to finish Luke Cage first!

Kim, I once again tried a couple new shades of red lipstick only to find I still can’t wear it. Ugh.

It is horrifying, I agree. I’ve had so many crazy book nightmares. I remember Hunger Games nightmares.

I had/have PPA (anxiety). And it’s still kind of a bitch, but better than before. Some days are normal, some aren’t. I definitely miss reading King. I have a couple I haven’t read and sometimes think of starting them, but my sleep is already such a joke and I’m worried about nightmares. Haha 😂

Thanks Kim, we are okay here now. The air quality is pretty shitty and there’s fire control trucks stationed everywhere just as a precaution. I saw on the news that they caught some guy trying to set a fire in Anaheim...WTF. Dealing with some PPD/PPA so sorry for my absence. I’m pretty much at my breaking point so thank the powers that be I get a couple of weeks off work after this week.

I would love to continue the continuum. I've been thinking about reading some of my Kings I have lying around, but I am kind of nervous. With my sleep deprivation and new mom anxiety, the nightmares are already pretty intense.

But...I should do it anyway. They never disappoint.
