Yeah the cemetery scene is one of several scenes that break my heart each & every time. As much as I don't like Lex, he does have his uses.

The make out session is heartbreaking, but honestly it wouldn't have happen if Chess didn't already feel something for him. She mentions it when she catches him making out with Amy.

The Alex craft series is worth giving a second chance to. For me there's no love triangle, I'm all about Death...I never considered the Chess, Terrible & Lex a love triangle, Chess only loves Terrible. Lex he's.....sigh.
Lex is just shifty (heh can you tell I'm not a fan of his)
But in general Love triangles are usually automatic dnf's for me. They're super aggravating.

Another series that has been delayed was Kalayna Prices's Alex Craft series, but book 4 is now slated to come out in Feb 2016.

Definitely this series has never glamorized Chess's drug addiction. It's always been brutally honest. Which I appreciate! Yes go reread....I'm almost done and I'm tempted to do it all over again.

That scene is so painfully beautiful....it's the complete destruction of a person. I've read other withdrawal scenes, but most gloss over some of the more disturbing elements. That's not the case here....
