Oh I'll always love the Kate Daniels series...I like the Alpha & Omega series better than Mercy Thompson. I've always had a thing for Charles.
Iain, here's an example of a bad narrator (at least to me) the audiobook for A Game of Thrones, listening to the sex scenes was cringe worthy.
I tend to only buy the audiobook versions of books that I read & loved. I never listen to a new book. I've tried it and was hard for me to get into it. I got distracted easily.
Yes they can be, but bad narration can totally ruin a good book.Audiobooks help me when my chronic migraines prevent me from reading, they still allow me to still enjoy my favorite books.
Dreamy sigh, sacrificial magic is my favorite in the series. I love hearing the downspeak, it makes me feel like I'm actually in downside.Oh god, my hatred for the BDB is deep and strong. If I never hear the word resplendent ever again, it'll be too soon.
Right...Ooh but that scene....
It's one my all time favorites in that whole series...
"His mouth left hers; he leaned back, looking down. Watching as he slowed his pace, rotated his hips, made breathless sounds fly from her mouth. And she let him, stretching her arms up to grip the top of the doorframe, stretching her back so her shirt rode up and pulled tight across her chest and he got a better view. She got a good view herself, watching his face; the same absorption on it she’d seen when he was fighting, when he was working. Total focus. On her. It was thrilling."
Ugh....
I've had Arrow on the watch list for a while, so for anyone who does watch the show. Let us know how it is!
