Living with crippling arthritis can be soul draining. Maybe I'll have to check out that book to see how accurate the descriptions are.
I have notoriously bad luck, so whenever I buy anything online I use gift cards. Lesson learned. Rachel...BLACK MIRROR IS FUCKING AMAZING!
Hey everyone....I hope you're all doing good...
I'm purposely avoiding the internet because I have no desire to see anymore of the carnage.
I hope you all have a good weekend...

I'm happy & relieved that she's hard at work on several projects. I need to get my tiny hands on all of them, LIKE RIGHT NOW.
I agree with you about the reading chronologically, but for most they don't seem to add anything to overall story arc. That's primarily why I tend to ignore them..I like the short stories in Nalini Singh's Psy-changeling series. They're cute but don't add much. But I like them...
I can't wait to read the next Kate Daniels short, it'll be good to get to know more about Derek & Julie.
Yeah I was going to suggest reading Five down....I tend not care about short stories, they don't usually interest me. But downside is the exception.
Rick the brave is cool, I thoroughly enjoyed seeing Chess & Terrible through someone else's eyes. The later stories are good, are you planing on reading them any time soon?
I'm not quite sure what to expect from Unholy Luck, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. My expectations are nowhere & everywhere.
She most definitely does....she'll have to deal with that and so much more in chasing magic.Iain have you read any of the short stories & novellas?
I despise love triangles, that's one of the main reasons why I won't read YA. Also I'm anti angst. The only angst I can handle is in gay romance, but even then my tolerance level is really really low.
That's precisely why it's great that she has Blue, it's one thing for Terrible to reassure her. To have someone who she isn't fucking telling her that it's going to be ok, I think will make a difference.
I'm not sure what will eventually be the breaking point for Chess, all I do know is that it'll be painful and we'll all suffer right along with her.
